Vacation rentals with a kayak in Bras d'Or Lake

Our friend group of 14 had a great time at Sheena and Bryce's beautiful house. The spacious living room was perfect to play boardgames. The kitchen was perfectly equipped to cook for our big group too. The place is very quieted and very conveniently located to be close enough to do day trips to the Cabot trail. We would love to come back.

This is a dream location. There are lots of windows to fill up with spectacular views of the ocean. The cottage is lovely and comfortable with an open space to unwind and soak up the beauty of the place. Lots of necessities in tge cupboards. All you need for an unforgettable stay.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The lake view was a highlight, and we spent many relaxing hours enjoying it. The location was ideal, with easy access to hiking trails which we enjoyed thoroughly. Michael was a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful. We can't wait to return!

Spent Christmas week, location was beautiful n peaceful yet easy enough for family and friends to find. The two living areas made it great for entertaining family. Laura was very approachable and facilitated any needs we had.

Had a great stay here, we're well taken care of and ws great to be out in the nature of Cape Breton! Thanks for hosting us.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour d'un mois, la maison voici les points forts: Résidence bien située pour découvrir l'Île du Cap Breton et ses alentours. Endroit très calme et éloigné des voisins, juste en face de la marina. Belle résidence, très propre, pleine de belles fenêtres, confortable et bien climatisée Foyer extérieur et pergolas très appréciés. Tous les services et restaurations sont à moins d'un kilomètre La nature est très présente tout autour de la maison (cerf, renards, écureuils, crabes, cormorans, hérons, geai bleu, martin pêcheur, etc..). Les points à tenir en compte: Absence de rideau dans la chambre à coucher principale. Absence de moustiquaire dans toutes les fenêtres alors, ont choisi les moustiques ou l'air climatisée. Table à manger pour seulement 6 personnes assises (annoncé; maximum de 8 voyageurs). Cuisine très sommairement équipée Beaucoup d'ampoules sont brûlées à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur et aucune Un gros merci à nos hôtes pour le séjour!

Wir haben uns in dem Haus am See sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ruhe war einfach herrlich! Verschiedene Boote zur Auswahl, um den See zu erkunden. Als wir grillen wollten, aber die Gasflasche leer war, bekamen wir sofort eine neue. Auf meine Nachrichten wurde sehr schnell reagiert und der Kontakt war immer freundlich. Zum Glück hatten wir ein gutes Öl gegen die Steckmücken dabei (davon gibt es sehr viele und die fliegen auch schon am Vormittag). Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Il y avait également beaucoup d'équipements et de commodités. Vous avez été très accueillantes et vous avez répondu rapidement à mes questions. C'est un très bel endroit près de l'eau. C'est très calme et la nature y est magnifique. J'y retournerais n'importe quand. Merci encore pour tout !

Kirk and Kelley were very welcoming and lovely. The cottage was easy to locate and had some stunning views of the mountains and the lake. Thank you for hosting us and would indeed return for another get away in the future.

Nikkis Haus ist das perfekte Ferienhaus, bestens und mit vielen schönen Details ausgestattet, man fühlt sich dort sofort wohl, Nikki ist auch eine perfekte Gastgeberin und antwortet unverzüglich auf Anfragen, hatte eine tolle Zeit dort und die Lage direkt am Wasser ist super, man konnte auch Ende Oktober noch schwimmen

It’s a Shore thing rental was absolutely beautiful! Great for a relaxing and fun getaway! Jennie messaged with local things to do and was always communicative if we needed or wanted anything! The place was so beautiful and clean, and the aesthetic was amazing! The hot tub was amazing and the view was even better. Beds were super comfy as well. If we forgot anything, this place had it! The bathroom had luxury products, with toiletries, makeup, hairspray all nine yards and great shower products! Leaving a welcome message to my friends and me! Great girls weekend getaway! We cannot wait to come back and enjoy it again! Thank you guys once again!

C’est un très bel endroit paisible, on peut faire du kayak juste en face du logement pour voir le coucher de soleil ou faire une petite excursion ! Nous y sommes resté avec notre bébé de 1 an pendant une semaine, on aurait aimé rester plus longtemps.

Our stay at this property was fantastic! The house was spotless, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location on the lake was absolutely stunning, and having kayaks available was a wonderful bonus. It made our trip to Cape Breton and the Cabot Trail even more enjoyable. Communication with the host was seamless, with clear instructions and a thorough description provided. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay again!

This was an awesome cottage right on the water. It was so nice to walk the beaches in Port Hood steps from the cottage. Managed to get in the last of Celtic Colors but were surprised by everything closing. We left on Monday morning but by Sunday almost everything was closed including one of the 2 restaurants in the town. The amenities in the cabin were great. Loved the views! Comfortable beds. Very clean. Highly recommend Patrick’s listing. You won’t regret it.

Overall a great stay at a lovely cottage. Kristy was extremely responsive to questions during our stay. We had an early spring visit so the road in was a little messy, but that is no fault of the hosts/cottage. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We absolutely love staying in this wonderfully cared for and peaceful cabin! Christine and Jeremie are such welcoming and responsive hosts, we never worry about a thing. When we land we're worn out and exhausted but once we leave we feel rested and restored. Many, many thanks to Christine and Jeremie for sharing their small slice of paradise with us. We always look forward to our next visit!

The idea was to chill out and recharge by the lake - and that's what happened. We had a terrific time and the staff were so responsive and helpful. Hot tub was excellent and looking out on a stunning view. Great little touches like a welcome gift for Archie the dog too which always helps!

Chices, modernes und stimmiges Einzimmerhaus mit grossartigem Blick auf das Wasser , vom Bett aus! Alles da, was man braucht, auch sehr leckerer Kaffee und Tee. Zum Baden hat es gereicht, und zum Kajakfahren oder SUP war leider zu wenig Zeit. Angenehm ruhig, auch wenn es gesamt vier Häuser sind. Frühstück in der Sonne, kurzum wunderbar, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben. Da hat sich jemand mit viel Liebe einen Traum verwirklicht. Danke!
