The house is modern and lovely with large windows and a deck looking out on the water. The house is large and filled with light, it’s clean and attractive and comfortable. The host John is highly responsive, answers all questions very quickly. It is 1 mile from town which makes it very convenient, and it is also very private and quiet.

We had a blast at Knockmore in Baddeck Bay. The house had everything we needed during our long discovery trip through East Canada. It was spacious, nicely equipped and very clean. The location of the house is fantastic, near a lake completely away from busy roads or neighborhoods. In Knockmore one can sit back and relax. We loved it to the moon and back. Deborah is very responsive, answers remaining questions within 10 minutes and gave us all kinds of resto tips. She is simply fabulous. Knockmore Was definitely the best AirBnB stay we had in Canada so far. If you decide to stay around the Cabot trail, Knockmore should be your choice! P.S.: Baddeck was for us he best village on the whole Cabot trail. As resto tip we highly recommend the Freight Shed at the Harbour. Regards, Irina and Bart

I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cabin near the beach. The place was very clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The host was excellent—very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

This is a beautiful spot in a beautiful location. Feeding the eagles was an amazing touch! I thought that was so cool. We liked watching all the humming birds as well. I got some lovely pictures. Would stay again.

I had a group of four families (with young children) stay at both the eagle and the sun house. The houses were very clean and spacious. We had plenty of room for our group and even had multiple unused bedrooms. The view is spectacular from both houses - especially the sun house. The pictures don’t do it justice. There’s no air conditioning in the houses, but we were kept cool by opening the windows and using the many fans that were provided in the rooms. It was fine during our stay, but I could imagine the upstairs rooms may get stuffy if you happen to visit during a particularly warm period. There’s a walk down the hill to the beach on the lake, and the beach is rocky so don’t expect to bring young kids swimming. Even if you’re feeling adventurous you’ll need water shoes to get around. Overall a great experience and a good way for a large group to visit Cape Breton

Our stay at Sara's place was just perfect! What a tranquil, beautiful, spacious, clean, fabulous spot! Sara is a fantastic host, who greeted us with coffee, muffins and wine! Her lovely property is well-equipped, private, and we enjoyed the woodstove! Although we didn't have time to sit at the waterfront, it has great views. Her location is very central and easy to get to the Cabot Trail. All-in-all, a first-rate BnB!

We had a great time, would for sure come back !! David was a wonderful host who was proactive in communication. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home, we didn’t want to leave.
