Places to stay in Baddeck

In an area awash with cabins and motel rooms, most of which, from looking online, look mediocre at best, this was certainly far superior. Exactly as described and in a great location- just off the road in an elevated position with great sunsets. All the essentials and more were provided.

Beautiful cottage. 7 minutes from town. Quiet and relaxing, just what I needed when I came back from being with my loved one in palliative care at the hospital.

We had a wonderful stay! James is an excellent host - easy to communicate with and very helpful with anything we needed during our stay. His home is beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Just a short walk from the beach! Would definitely recommend.

Chris’s cottage is a perfect quiet getaway from the city life. It was right on the water, with furniture perfectly placed for enjoying the sounds of nature. It was exactly as shown in the pictures- modern, minimalistic, clean and aesthetically pleasing. Chris was an amazing host- very responsive and proactive. He was able to deliver the propane tank on a short notice. The pre-arrival as well as during-stay instructions were helpful. Loved the complementary personalized options- music, cottage temperature, and scent ambiance. Would definitely book this place again when visiting Cape Breton.

The environment is comfortable. It's a joy to be there.

Such a gem of a place ! We loved the layout. Beautiful view. Easy check in and out :) It was so clean! Very close to grocery store and the sweetest cafe. We’ll be back next year! Thank you :)

In all of my experiences with Airbnb stays, this made the top 3. Exactly what you need in Cape Breton. Gorgeous views of the sea, mountains and the overall landscape, close to the few good restaurants in the area. I will try to book this place again on my next trip here. ❤️

We enjoyed our little getaway. The kids loved everything about the place! We will most definitely come back again.
