The dormitory in Wierum is a beautiful and cozy apartment with private sauna (for an additional fee), located in a former primary school 100m from the Wadden Sea. It is located in the middle of the Unesco World Heritage, where you can intensely enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Wadden area. The apartment is surprisingly spacious (70m2) and can accommodate up to 5 people. Children can have fun on the trampoline, on the grass/soccer field and can also cuddle with our rabbits and guinea pigs.

The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the Wanswert church. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we have used second-hand furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood stove, a pleasant living climate is created. The apartment has a cozy private garden around it, a private front door and lots of privacy.

Special B&B "Het Zevende Leven".

Welcome to our old farmhouse, part of which the former stable has been transformed into an attractive B&B. Specially decorated with lots of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have your own entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and YouTube. A FULL BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The B&B is separate and closed off from the main building. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one B&B room.

Apartment Aloha is located on the outskirts of the village of Buren overlooking the meadows, the dunes and the Wadden Sea. The Wadden Sea is 5 minutes by bike, the beach and the North Sea 10 minutes. The cozy 4-person vacation home is located in the front house of our farmhouse. The building is built in traditional Ameland farmhouse style and spacious. Also well suited for children, the shared garden has a playground. Booking via Airbnb is possible up to 3 months in advance.

Guesthouse Vreedebest Dokkum

The peace and quiet of Friesland and the coziness of the Elfstedenstad Dokkum are 5 minutes away by bike. You will find that in this renovated cottage. The guesthouse is located on the grounds of an authentic Frisian kop-hals-romp farm, is detached and has its own terrace. This provides a lot of peace and privacy. The farm is out of business. Over the years, a beautiful bio-diverse (picking) garden has been created. Guests are welcome to pick a flower, fruit or fresh herbs.

Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. Relax in the backyard with a cup of tea or go out for dinner in one of the very good restaurants in the city! Enjoy!

"Come and relax in our cottage 'Welgelegen', on the edge of the forest. You can enjoy and relax here. You can also enjoy hiking and nature here. Within 10 minutes, you can be in Dokkum, and within half an hour, you can be in Leeuwarden or Drachten. You can park for free at the forest, right next to the cottage. All basic facilities are available, and this allows you to fully relax and enjoy your stay in Rinsumageast!"

Hidden place near the center of Leeuwarden

Hidden in the Leeuwarden district of Huizum, lies the former kindergarten "Boartlik Begjin". At the end of the Ludolf Bakhuizenstraat, lies this special quiet place, within walking distance of the city center and the train station. A nice base to go into the city, shop or visit one of the museums. And also to discover the rest of Friesland. The room is also suitable as a home office (WiFi available).

Het Swadde Huisje, sauna and hottub (2 pers)

Welcome in this comfortable chalet, with much privacy, in our large woody garden. With a bedbox, pelletstove, large and nice porch with meadow view. Including made bed, towels, kitchen linen, coffee, tea, Wifi. Options for a fee and upon availability: bicycle rental, slow car charging, use of the shepherds hut sauna or Swedish hot tub (Størvatt without bubbles, not available in July-August).

Our beautiful detached guest house Noflik can accommodate 4 people with 2 bedrooms and 2 double beds upstairs (baby bed available if desired).
