If any place is worth 5 stars, this is definitely it. - A completely private entire house to yourself - Fully stocked with everything and more than you could ever need (especially in the kitchen, which made for ease of cooking and baking anything we wanted) - Very comfortable beds and furniture, with a smart TV in every bedroom and a MASSIVE and really nice one in the living room. - Super friendly and proactive hosts, more than willing to help with anything you need (though we didn't end up needing anything) The only "issues" we experienced at all was that there was a horrible downpour on the first night, which lead to nothing more than a bit of a damp spot of carpet in the very corner of the basement, and that the knob on the washing machine comes off, so to start it, you have to pull on the pin it clicks onto (still works fine). That is it, everything else was nothing short of perfect. Stayed for 5 nights and highly recommend, especially for how good the price is. 10/10

This was our second time staying at The Yellow Door Cottage. The place is pretty and clean as described. Stacey is the great host, she always pays attention to detail and fast response.

Great place to stay, even better location!! Trolling picks you up at front door and you can walk to all the main bars and restaurants! I have stayed here several times. I didn’t realize there was no air conditioning this time- my fault for not reading it was hot this weekend. I will stay here again for sure and I will double check that the air will be in! Can’t wait to be back!!

This Airbnb was fantastic! The location was ideal, and the place was incredibly cozy. Almost everything we needed was provided. My only suggestion is to purchase a hot cooking burner for the kitchen. Since there was a kitchenette in photos, we assumed there was an oven, so we packed food. I should have thoroughly reviewed the pictures and listing before our arrival. I believe adding this could significantly enhance the Airbnb’s value, as the dining options in the town are often limited. Overall we had a great time and really enjoyed our weekend stay!

Loved the welcome note which made us feel welcome. Also appreciated the snacks and the amenities in both kitchen and bathroom. One note-could use no caffeine coffee pods. Also loved the personal touches with the decor.. we are three college friends who go waaaaay back. This was a good choice for our getaway. Deanna M Speckhart

I loved my stay at The Cottage! It was very clean, tastefully decorated, and smelled so nice as soon as I walked in the door. It was perfect for my stay in St Charles while attending a conference in the area. The area is beautiful and there is a great coffee shop nearby. Other restaurants and park areas are within walking distance as well. I highly recommend Lindsay's place and would love to stay there again!

I’ve stayed there one other time and it’s very nice. They have done some nice landscaping and built a patio but couldn’t use it this time- cold and rainy but definitely look forward to using it next time in warmer weather.
