Cabin vacation rentals in Bovey Tracey

The peaceful setting and aspect of this Cabin was magical. Where can you sit in a hot tub staring at the stars and hear owls and foxes? The firepit bbq is a joy to use - fundamentally basic and perfect for searing.

Wow! What a place! It sounds a cliche but we will definitely be visiting again! Next time for more than one evening. We’re already looking through the diary for the next available weekend. It was everything we expected and more. We stayed as it was as close to an event we were attending that evening. Upon arrival we were worried about getting a taxi to an event as uber didn’t work well in the area. Jill (the host) kindly asked what time we needed to be there and what time we needed to be collected and she organised it all. She really went above and beyond what was expected and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more

Id highly recommend staying here! A very unique place to stay, the cabin itself and the garden it’s in is really beautiful. It feels very private. All the details inside have been really thought about, and has everything we needed. It’s felt so relaxing and luxurious. There are so many nice touches everywhere such as the stoneware, and bed linen. The outdoor shower made us feel a lot more connected with nature each morning, and the outdoor hot bathtub after we’d built a good fire was lovely after such a long drive. Kitchen has all the things you’d need, and as a bit of a coffee person having a v60 and filters in the cupboard was a really nice touch. The local farm eggs were a real treat! We utilised the communal barn as well (again a very well thought out space), which has a big oven etc. We really loved it here. Many thanks again to Henry and Ania, we can’t wait to come back!

We had such a lovely, peaceful stay at Tim’s place. The lodge is even better than the photos and the quality of beds, linen, etc was really high quality - both the adults and children in our group all slept better than at home! The hot tub was a real highlight for us, brilliant size and ready for us to use as soon as we arrived. Tim was really responsive and available to answer any questions we had. Loved the location - highly recommend visiting “Outside” up the lane for a bite to eat and a drink

Loved our stay , was very cosy and pretty place. had everything we needed inside. Hot tub and fire were a bonus. All the animals on the farm were lovely to see. layout was great. greta stay

Nathan was very friendly and very informative regarding places to eat and local surroundings etc. our stay was great loved the record player and even got back in hottub at 6am to see the sunrise. memorable is all I can say.

Amazing stay, was so peaceful, perfect location to visit lyford gorge and Dartmoor national park ! The hot tub as the Perfect wind down for the evening & the fire over the views outside was amazing late evening. Hosts are friendly & great community on site! Also waking up in the morning hearing the birds was the icing on the cake and thank you for our gifts on arrival, it was very much needed after a 4 hour drive. Would 100% recommend to anyone. WOW! What a fabulous bungalow and location. 4 of us and a dog stayed for a few days in April. The location is stunning, just minutes’ walk from Seaton Hole beach and the fabulous Jurassic Bites café and a short, spectacular wander from the beautiful town of Beer. The bungalow itself has everything you could wish for, including a walled/fenced garden that kept my dog happy and provided us with incredible sea views and garden seating. Louise is a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a relaxing stay. The fresh scones on arrival were a lovely touch. Thanks so much for sharing your bungalow.

We had a great stay, 4 adults & 3 dogs. The chalet was roomy, clean and homely. The hot tub on the balcony was amazing with wonderful views. There were countryside walks around the site as well as activities. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family and hopefully return in the near future.

Amazing getaway - you wouldn't know there are other people staying nearby as it is so quiet. Peaceful, relaxing and a great place to use as a base to explore Dartmoor and Hay Tor. Me and the dog loved it!

Just returned from a wonderfully, peaceful and relaxing stay, the location of the property is great, the views were spectacular, the hosts gave us all the information we needed and the property was exactly as the pictures showed and better, The property was very private a spotlessly clean, it was a great place to take our dog with many country side walks nearby Cannot recommend this property enough

Exceeded expectations, such a gorgeous setting and lovely cosy cabin. Getting to it across the sunny Somerset country roads is all part of its charm

William's place was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for. We travelled with our daughter and our dog and the size was perfect. The hut was very clean and cosy and we loved the fact that there was a good sized and comfortable master bedroom. And our little one loved the small bunk bed room. The views were absolutely stunning, with both sea and hills in sight. We also absolutely loved the outdoor bath and used it each night. We also used the indoor and outdoor fire, although it would have been helpful to have some kindling to use, as I had to go and collect sticks to get things started. But other than that it was very toasty inside, with central heating as well. We loved staying here and would love to come back in the warmer months so we can spend more time outside in the front garden.

We loved our stay at the Nest - the location is so beautiful & peaceful and the Nest was just as described. Felicity was very helpful, proactive and responsive welcoming us for check in, sharing local recommendations. We spent Easter there with our 3yo and Felicity left children’s books, toys for the bath & Easter chocolates which she loved! Looking forward to coming back!

The cabin in Electra's garden was excellent for my overnight stay en route to a meeting in Cornwall. It was clean, tidy and had everything I needed. I was warmly welcomed, given local knowledge and offered any further help if needed. I shall use the accommodation again for a similar stop-over.

Beautiful, easy stay. Absolutely loved it as 2 people one who loves camping, the other who doesn’t camp. This is the perfect in between. Lou is very responsive, great recommendations, lovely accommodation, original, clever set up. Beautiful surroundings. Thank you so much.

We all absolutely loved the Alpaca retreat. Cozy cabins, lovely hosts and perfect surroundings. Wonderful place to unwind and get back to nature. The kids loved the Alpacas, chickens, ducks and pigs. We enjoyed the cabins decked area which had sun all day from breakfast to sunset and the evenings under the stars with a bbq or fire pit.

Stephen & Chris were perfect hosts, very friendly & not at all intrusive, quick responses to all communication. Forget Me Not Cabin is a wonderful, cosy location, it is really well equipped & the icing on the cake is the outside seating area set within its own private, little garden (we were lucky enough to enjoy some April sunshine)! Would highly recommend & will be back!
