The cottage is very well equipped and is furnished to a high standard with access to private patio area overlooking a woodland habitat which enjoys a wide variety of wildlife. Nestled in the Kent countryside you will find this traditional oak framed self-catering hideaway with luxury finishes and beautiful surroundings. With stunning view and the historic village of Chilham just a short walk away, Copse Corner is an ideal location to explore the Garden of England. Set within the 4 acres of the Owners property and adjoining a private woodland and meadow, this is a perfect romantic retreat for a holiday or stolen weekend away and also a wildlife watcher's paradise! Copse Corner features a cosy open plan living/dining/kitchen area with vaulted ceilings. The kitchen has a country feel with Smeg induction hob and compact oven/microwave, a small fridge freezer, Nespresso machine with selection of capsules. A further separate utility room is available with a washing machine and laundry facilities. The living area features a wood-burning stove, especially useful on those chilly autumn nights, and a free supply of logs. The comfy seating area is an ideal place to relax and unwind, with a small selection of books and games available. Duck down through the quirky low doors to access the patio which is set in a quiet corner adjacent to the woodland and meadow. The bistro table and chairs offer the perfect spot to enjoy the birdsong and fresh country air, you may even catch a glimpse of the pheasants as well as other wildlife. Maybe take the opportunity to dine al fresco or enjoy breakfast (with the Owners' hens providing the eggs, when available). A dedicated parking space is available near to the Owners property. The Owners live close-by and are on hand should you need them, but otherwise will not disturb your stay. A warm welcome awaits our visitors who we are sure will have a truly memorable holiday. If we are not on-site please do not hesitate to call or text on our mobiles The cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is a short walk from the historic village of Chilham with its Tudor period homes, tea room, 2 pubs and gift shop. Canterbury is a short car or train journey away. Within easy reach of London (37 minutes by high speed train from St Pancras to Ashford followed by a connection to Chilham Railway station). A peaceful setting to sit back and enjoy, or for those seeking something more energetic, try the walks and cycle routes nearby. A car is not essential for your stay as we are approximately 1 mile from the mainline railway at Chilham. Although trains can be few and far between so please check timetables before deciding on this option.

Annexe with Private Courtyard, Short walk to Town

Located in Faversham, enjoy the local area at the house with its own private courtyard and access, a short walk from many great pubs and restaurants in town. Downstairs there is a sofa bed which can pull out to form a small double bed (best suited for kids). Smart television, microwave, electric hob (no oven provided), kettle and fridge in the kitchenette area. Separate shower room with King sized bed upstairs. With your own private courtyard, there is space to relax and enjoy the sunshine.

The Hayloft Annex

This is a beautifully restored 2 bed and 2 bath period cottage in the village of Boughton-Under-Blean. A superb location near the city of Canterbury, the town of Faversham and only a 15 minute drive to the coast. The property has recently been restored to a stylish and luxurious space in keeping with the history of the building as a previous period stables. The finish is high quality and looks beautiful! It has all the essentials you need to have a fun-filled holiday in the Kentish countryside.

The Hopper Huts are placed perfectly to enjoy wonderful Kent. Whitstable and Canterbury are a short drive, and Selling Station (short walk or drive) provides routes to London. If you want to get away from your busy, daily lives, relax and unwind with the sound of birds in the background then this is the place for you. This is not the place for late night hot tub parties! You certainly won’t forget your time in this intimate Garden Room sunken into the grounds of our garden with stunning views of our paddock/ old orchard and surrounding countryside of the beautiful village of Hernhill. We have great sunsets in this area which you can watch from the Garden room.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This property is within 5 minutes walking distance of the Woods and our local award winning Gastro pub, The Dove. We are only a 10 minute drive into Whitstable & Faversham & an approximate 15 minute drive into the historic city of Canterbury. Seasalter & Whitstable Beaches are also just a 10-15 minute drive away. During the week the local bus runs into both Whitstable & Faversham and Taxis are readily available from either town.

Sparrow’s Nest Cottage

Fully refurbished in 2022, Sparrow’s Nest Cottage is set alongside a Victorian house and has picturesque views of the rolling North Downs. The cottage is right on the North Downs/Pilgrim’s Way and is 6 miles from the historic cathedral city of Canterbury. The quintessential Kent village of Chilham is nearby, with the coast at Whitstable only a 30 minute drive away.
