Family-friendly vacation rentals in Borken

My friends and I were looking for a short getaway – and we definitely found it in this apartment. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed in person, and everything was explained to us in detail. I also really appreciated that there was a key box installed outside, in case some members of the group wanted to return earlier. All in all, we had an unforgettable time and would be very happy if we had the chance to come back.

Lovely holiday home in corner of the park. Lots of privacy and that's nice with jacuzzi and sauna in the garden.

We enjoyed staying at Nans' place very much. The apartment is very nicely decorated and in great condition. The huge and beautiful wellness area invites you to relax and makes you forget the stress of everyday life immediately. Due to the central location, we were able to do all excursions into the city on foot, as well as walk to the beautiful old town of Zutphen at any time for food or a coffee. Despite the central location, the property is very quiet as the apartment is in the second row to the street. Nans was a great host and available at any time. We will be happy to come back.

For our JGA we booked this place for one night. We were 13 people, room was more than enough for everyone. Rooms were all clean, there were plenty of towels for everyone. About the location: as already described in some reviews before me, the house is located in a residential area and is a semi-detached house. Therefore, it should also be noted that you cannot/should not make noise until the end of the day. We talked to the neighbors before and were still partying around 11:30 pm. Until then, no one complained about the volume and we were certainly not quiet on the road. The garden is nice and large, the hot tub well maintained. The house itself is also in good condition, the bathrooms in the rooms are "newly" renovated. Check in / check out went smoothly, the hosts are very nice. All in all we had a great time and with the house the perfect accommodation for the JGA, thank you.

We stayed there one night and were satisfied. The night and the bed were comfortable. We were greeted in a friendly way and everything worked out so far. We did not use the wellness offer because personally the extra charge was too expensive for us and there was no time for it. Thanks again!

We had a very good time here with our group of friends. A nice cottage, beautiful in nature, with plenty of space. Highly recommendable!

Mario is a good host, everything was good and everything was organized

Excellent guesthouse in a nice quiet location, near the Maas. There were several cottages on site. The house we rented had a private garden that was well screened. The courtyard was shared with everyone and there were some children's bikes. In the house itself, everything was very clean. There was plenty of space, plenty of equipment also in the kitchen. Too bad the piano didn't work (some keys broken and it was completely false!) In addition, it is also unfortunate that the hot tub in the garden is not included but that this is payable separately in cash.

We made a stopover here for the trip from the UK to Hamburg and can highly recommend the accommodation. The hosts are so warm, we felt welcome even before arrival. The hosts are very attentive and have thought about our needs in advance (toddler, dog) - we appreciate that very much and it doesn't happen often. We will be happy to come back!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sylvian was a great host—very helpful, with excellent communication. The apartment was spotless and located right in the heart of Hattingen’s old town. A large supermarket is just a few minutes' walk away, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. We’d love to go back one day.

The apartment has a very comfortable access. The interior space is bright and very spacious. The location is great for visiting the city. It was a very nice stay for me with Jens & Thomas. The apartment is in a great location, is lovingly decorated and super clean, kitchen and bathroom are perfectly equipped. With stable Wi-Fi and a desk, it was also a great workplace for me. Jens and Thomas know Münster very well and are otherwise the perfect hosts, very pleasant in communication, uncomplicated and helpful. On top of all this, two exceptional pluses: A bike to rent and a great library in the apartment!

Great apartment. Very nice landlord. I could always reach out to him who I would have had. I used the apartment professionally to be closer to the fair. Thanks to the quiet location, I was able to switch off after a stressful noisy everyday trade fair. Great that you could park the car right outside the door, which made packing and unpacking the many things much easier. Everything you needed. The bed was very comfortable. Workspace available. Will definitely be reserved for next time.

The cottage was so beautiful! It smelled lovely of wood. And it really gives a cozy feeling. Everything is clean and tidy. I would recommend the cottage to anyone. There is also a forest nearby, where you can walk. And plenty of room to park. Upon entering, there was a bottle of champagne with chocolates and a cheese board on the table, which we really liked and tasty!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful. Lots of nature in the area. Wild birds and animals. We particularly enjoyed the nature trails which were within walking distance, or just relaxing in the yard watching the horse walk by. We loved it. Thanks Linda for everything.

We felt very comfortable in the small apartment in a very quiet location of a residential area. The small forest nearby was very good for walking the dog. The parking spot was right in front of the house. Communication with Florian worked out very well and all questions were answered quickly. What was partially missing in the apartment was immediately provided to us with explanation and apology. That was very pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and the couch cozy. We slept excellently. The kitchen had everything we needed. Shopping was a 3-minute drive away. The small garden with terrace is perfect for stepping outside in the morning. In summer, I imagine that to be very pleasant. We were very happy with the place.

Everythinng worked fine for a two - month stay.. Fully equipped both in kitchen and furniture - wise. Nice and safe neighbourhood. Elena was easy to get hold of .
