Family-friendly vacation rentals in Borken

For our JGA we booked this place for one night. We were 13 people, room was more than enough for everyone. Rooms were all clean, there were plenty of towels for everyone. About the location: as already described in some reviews before me, the house is located in a residential area and is a semi-detached house. Therefore, it should also be noted that you cannot/should not make noise until the end of the day. We talked to the neighbors before and were still partying around 11:30 pm. Until then, no one complained about the volume and we were certainly not quiet on the road. The garden is nice and large, the hot tub well maintained. The house itself is also in good condition, the bathrooms in the rooms are "newly" renovated. Check in / check out went smoothly, the hosts are very nice. All in all we had a great time and with the house the perfect accommodation for the JGA, thank you.

We had a very good time here with our group of friends. A nice cottage, beautiful in nature, with plenty of space. Highly recommendable!

We were there with a group of teenagers and young adults and felt very comfortable right from the beginning! The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished; the furnishings are perfectly designed for large groups. The garden/terrace is also great.

Had a great weekend. Enjoyed the nice garden with various seats and of course the wellness. Cottage really has all the comforts and the bed was very comfortable. Beautiful quiet area and a 20-30 minute drive from various nice cities. Joop and Thea are very friendly and are there for you immediately. In short, highly recommended!

We (8 people) had a wonderful time in this fantastically located accommodation in the middle of the forest. The Canadian-style log cabin with its large terrace was a real highlight: with numerous seating options at the high table, a large dining table, a cozy lounge corner and the adjoining hot tub, it was the perfect place for us to get together. The cottage was very clean, tidy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The kitchen was very well equipped: there were plenty of dishes, bowls and many small extras such as coffee, tea and spices. Everything was thought of. The beds were freshly made, towels were ready and toilet and bathroom were very neat and clean. We especially loved the warm nature of our hostess. Claudia is incredibly friendly and thoughtful. You felt comfortable and well taken care of from the first moment. We didn't miss anything! We will be happy to come back!

Absolutely fantastic place, very peaceful and quiet. I loved the surrounding, a combination of rural environment with hints of wild nature to it. Riet and her partner have created themselves a small piece of quiet, with the possibility to walk around their small pond, and they even created a small beach with an entrance to the pond.

We made a stopover here for the trip from the UK to Hamburg and can highly recommend the accommodation. The hosts are so warm, we felt welcome even before arrival. The hosts are very attentive and have thought about our needs in advance (toddler, dog) - we appreciate that very much and it doesn't happen often. We will be happy to come back!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Iordanis' place was excellent in all respects - it was spacious, well kitted out, warm (as we visited in December) and homely. Access to ample parking was very useful too as we had two cars with us. Iordanis was a very responsive host and was accessible whenever we needed him. The Christmas tree with the lighting was a nice touch as well!

We stayed with Thorsten, his family and all the animals for 5 days. It was super nice, everyone is very friendly and we felt at home. The Hof von Thorsten is immersed in nature and you are awakened by birdsong. There were Easter eggs as a welcome and the apartment has everything you need and was very clean. Highly recommend! :)

She was a great host.. very friendly, responsive and great to communicate with.. And her home was so quiet, serene and a place worth spending time indoors ..it looked more beautiful and spacious than pictures. will definitely come again

We had a wonderful stay at Lucinda’s cabin in the woods! The cabin is super cozy and homey, located in a beautiful forest area, with all amenities necessary. It’s a great spot for a long, peaceful weekend getaway for a couple or with a group of friends. Perfect to relax, enjoy nature and unwind. I went with a group of friends, but also perfect for families with (small) kids as there is a swing and a nice trampoline outside as well as plenty of games, crayons, papers etc for kids to enjoy their time both inside and outside. Lucinda provided us with all the necessary information in advance and was very responsive to your needs. Overall, I couldn’t recommend it enough and would love to stay here again.

It was quite easy to find, the host was very kind and met us around 20:30. The place itself was spotless clean and had everything that was listed. Additionally, the kitchen, bathroom and sauna were pristine cleaned. The glass in the bathroom was so clean for a moment we thought that were was no glass. Sauna was excellent and we even started a nice little fire one day. Very peaceful with allot of opportunity for hiking and nature. And very easy connection to Dusseldorf via the train with free parking at the train station in the small town. Would go back again without a doubt.

The cottage was so beautiful! It smelled lovely of wood. And it really gives a cozy feeling. Everything is clean and tidy. I would recommend the cottage to anyone. There is also a forest nearby, where you can walk. And plenty of room to park. Upon entering, there was a bottle of champagne with chocolates and a cheese board on the table, which we really liked and tasty!

Dear Bryan and family, we had 4 super nice days with you! Communication was so easy and we felt well taken care of all around! The campsite is super clean, well maintained, and you feel very comfortable! The house was super nice and clean ! The normal sanitary facilities were also properly maintained and great! We are campers and found the house was sufficient for 4 persons. You already know in advance what you are getting into! We had wonderful days with you which we would like to repeat! Maybe we'll try another great place from your place!!! 😊😊😊

A lovely place with plenty of space to enjoy. The hot tub and pool are really added value. We enjoyed ourselves every second.

We spent a week in Wilfried’s apartment, which was perfect for remote working. The fully equipped kitchen contains everything you need to prepare your own meals, but there are also restaurants within walking distance. The terrace was ideally positioned for soaking up the sun and the pool was definitely a highlight of the trip. Highly recommended.

This is a very nice and spacious house in a wonderful place. Lots of space to stay with multiple people with multiple bathrooms as well. The place is in the middle of the greenery, with restaurants and museums nearby. There are bicycles in the shed that we were allowed to use, very nice! The interior is a bit outdated. There is carpet as carpeted throughout. Good to keep in mind if you are allergic to dust mites , I personally had some trouble with that. The communication was fine and warm. A misunderstanding about the bedding was resolved right away. Recommend!
