To relax, there is a 3-person massage Jacuzzi under the veranda. The deposit for our house is €250. The area is ideal for peace seekers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. In our beautiful fenced private garden, you will enjoy the many bird species.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Because there is a lot of space in this house, as well as in the yard, everyone can find his or her way here. The ground floor is wheelchair friendly. Outside, there is plenty of space to sit, whether or not in the sun. Nieuw Buinen is about 15 minutes by bike from Borger, where fairs and flea markets are regularly held in the summer. Hiking and biking routes. Swimming pool nearby. Rural location. View over fields.

Our little cottage on the Hondsrug

Come and stay in our unique little cottage located in a quiet location in Gasselte on the Hondsrug, Drenthe, bordering the forest, heath and sandy plains of the Drouwenerzand nature reserve. Here you can spend hours hiking, cycling or horseback riding in a wooded area. You are just a stone's throw away from the Drenthe megalithic tombs, the famous swimming lake Nije Hemelriekje, the Adventure Park or the Drouwenerzand Amusement Park. Your horse or dog can come along for a small fee.

This attractive five-person nature house behind the house has a large garden with animals, various seats and a large playground with playground equipment. When the weather is nice, you can cook outside in the witch's cauldron or use the barbecue. The cottage is great at discovering Drenthe, Groningen, Friesland and Germany. For example, the beautiful forests of Emmen are close by with their dolphins and the Bargerveen nature reserve, but it is also the fortified city of Bourtange.

Welcome to the wooded Exloo, located on the Hondsrug in Drenthe. We live in the monumental train station of Exloo from 1903, on the NOLS railway line, from Zwolle to Delfzijl. this railway was founded in 1899 and lifted in 1945. This railway is now a nice walking path! Next to our house is a completely detached and brand new renovated house of 2 floors with enough privacy and a private entrance for up to 6 people. There is free parking, and a private terrace in complete privacy.

The apartment is located between monumental thatched farms in old Valthe, a small esdorp on the Hondsrug, Around Valthe there are forests, fields, heathlands, country lanes, fens, burial hills and dolmens. Many cycling and walking routes run through Valthe which give access to a widespread network through Drenthe and surrounding provinces. 1 child up to 4 years old can stay in the parents' room. On request a crib/cot can be placed.
