Farm stay with hot tub/ sauna and wild swimming

LouisaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved the lodge! The photos don't do it justice. It's a great size for a family and the views are gorgeous. The marshmallows on arrival for the fire pit were a lovely touch. The wood fired hot tub was amazing, whilst a labour of love to get warm at the start was perfect to jump into in the evening. The children loved the wild swimming lake and the standup paddle boards and canoes available to use. The heated floor in the bathroom was great, and the shower was nice and strong. Overall cleanliness was great (the bathroom sparkled!) although did spy a few cobwebs up on the beams We have already been talking to friends about getting both lodges and will be back!

We had a really lovely time staying here. The beautiful surroundings were really peaceful and the outdoor seating space in the orchard was an added bonus. The property was immaculately clean and had all the facilities you could want for a comfortable stay. We hope to stay again in the future. Thank You.

The Sky Blue Pink Gite

DavidRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Linda was friendly and helpful. The Gite was comfortable and spotless. There is a Pub at the end of the lane (10 min uphill but only 5 min back !) with a selection of real ale and a good standard of 'pub grub'. A private area to sit and enjoy the evening or have early breakfast would add to the property's . Maybe to the back of the building ? There is a bench and an iron bistro set in the surrounding garden/field though. We had one small (modern day) issue in that the WiFi stopped working and 5G coverage is hit and miss in the area. More an inconvenience than anything else and it did not spoild our stay.
A wooden table is set outdoors under a clear blue sky, adorned with two bowls of grapes and glasses of orange juice. A single rose in a vase adds a touch of color, while white chairs are positioned nearby amidst lush greenery and a brick wall.

Spacious self-contained annex in rural setting

DawnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We only had 2 nights at Badgers Rest but wished we’d had much longer! It’s in a beautiful location - very peaceful and quiet. The cottage is spacious, the bed really comfortable and it’s all really well-equipped with luxurious furnishings. We met Fiona on our last day there and she was most welcoming and friendly, as were all of her communications prior to our visit. She had left supplies for us on our arrival which were much appreciated. I would highly recommend Badger’s Rest as an outstanding property.
