You will have your own entrance to the apartment. From the bedroom entrance to the TV room/kitchenette with the possibility of sleeping 2 people on the sofa bed. From the TV room, there is access to a private bathroom/toilet. There will be the opportunity to store things in a refrigerator with a small freezer. There is an electric kettle so you can make coffee and tea. In the kitchenette, there is 1 mobile hot plate and 2 small pots as well as 1 oven No frying in the room. WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the amazing nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There's also a sauna in connection with the lake. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city center. There are 2 km to Pizzaria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

Forest cabin in scenic surroundings. Located on a 5200 m2 private property. In the immediate area there is access to Karup River and Nature National Park Kompedal Plantage. In the cottage there is a kitchen-living room, wood stove, bathroom, bedroom with a short double bed (NOTE the bed is short W: 140 x L: 180 cm) and loft with 2 beds (180 x 200). There is a nice wooden terrace with access to an annex with an extra bedroom. IMPORTANT: The tenant is responsible for cleaning and tidying up. No partying or loud music.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
