Amazing place, amazing hosts. Been staying at Merrijig for many years and this is one of the best homes we’ve stayed in. Kind hosts with complementary food and drinks that were left for us at check-in. Very strongly recommend.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Fiona & Lar’s Merlewood. Our accommodation was spotless, & very cosy. The roomy cottage was surrounded by beautiful peaceful Australian countryside. Bed was incredibly comfortable and large. Nights were spent cooking a meal, followed by a spa one night, and movie. Mornings were enjoyed taking in the beautiful sun filled view from every room after opening the blinds. Followed by a walk up the back hill, a sit on the deck, a sight seeing by car to Alexandra for lunch at the large cafe there, and enjoyed hiring a kayak at Jerusalem Creek to paddle around Eildon weir. Another day we drove to Yarck and purchased some essential oiled natural skin products at DINDI. There was also Op shop visits in Alexandra & Yea where we found a couple of bargains. This is the perfect place for a couple to unwind, & take in the scenery & tranquility, and use as a base to explore the region. Thanks Fiona & Lars making this lovely stay possible.

We loved staying at Snow Gum Creek. It was quiet and picturesque and we enjoyed the wildlife visiting close by including kangaroos, king parrots and other birdlife, deer. There was easy access to the local creek and walks. Nic and Stef provided a very thoughtful suggested itinery for potential activities and eating places in the area. They were very responsive and helpful when we contacted them.

Lauren and her four legged sidekick Bruce greeted us upon arrival. Lauren was very friendly and helpful, great host She provided us with heaps of ideas to keep us busy during our visit Her home was in a convenient walking location to the main part of town, yet was private and peaceful which made us feel like we were in the middle of nowhere. The house was clean and felt like home and the driveway had ample room for our car and JetSki The Wifi was quick and access to Lauren’s Netflix was a nice touch. I would definitely retune to Top of the Town next time I’m in Eildon

Beautiful location that we and our dog loved. So peaceful and relaxing - the perfect way to escape the city for a couple of days. And the cottage itself was super cute but had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful time at Sharna and Corey’s farm. It felt very laid back, the kids loved the animal interactions, and there was a lot of attention to detail in the accommodation. The region is a great area to explore, with lots to do. We hope to come back again. Thanks for a lovely holiday that our kids will remember.

We had a fantastic stay at Peak 202 over Easter for a family wedding—John was a wonderful host and the apartment was perfect. Just steps from the village and Chamois ski run, the location couldn’t be better. The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were stunning, and the space was warm, welcoming, and well-equipped. Our family felt completely at home with three spacious bedrooms, a spa bath, drying room, full laundry, and a great kitchen with everything from a Nespresso machine to a dishwasher. The gas fireplace, Smart TVs, free WiFi, and heated balcony with BBQ made it extra cozy and convenient. Keyless entry and thoughtful extras like games and a secure parking space really stood out. Everything was spotless, stylish, and designed with comfort in mind. Thanks, John, for a memorable and seamless stay—we’ll definitely return to Peak 202!

Rudawe lodge was exactly as it was described. Perfect for our occasion. John was very helpful and ran us through everything as we arrived.

Melinda's place is perfectly situated in a quiet cul-de-sac just a block from the main street with its restaurants, cafes and pubs - and the best bookshop on NE Victoria! The house fronts a beautiful garden and everything inside is as you see in the photos - warm, comfortable, clean and welcoming. Melinda is a great host - unobtrusive but on-hand if you need anything. Communication and entry were very straightforward and easy. We highly recommend Creekside!

Tim has been an awesome host! Super friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond to any questions you have. The house is in such a beautiful and quiet location, only a 2min walk down to the waterfront. House was super clean and inviting - a home away from home! Perfect getaway for a family or small group. Sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and one of the friendly local kangaroo showing us the way to the property at 10:30pm at night was definitely one of the many highlights of our stay. Would love to come back for a longer duration for another Winter season!

Our large extended family (5 adults, 3 children and one dog) had a wonderful stay at Rosedale. It was absolutely perfect for our needs and was warm and cosy with many thoughtful touches. The gardens are beautiful and the setting perfect, just a short cycle ride from Mansfield and a perfect to end our family trip along the Great Victorian Rail Trail.

Great place with friendly hosts. Will definitely spend more time at this place whenever possible.

Wonderful stay. Really peaceful with panoramic views of the landscape. Very calming with no wi-fi overload. Heartwarming sounds from the horses in the neighbouring paddock. Everything we needed for our stay whilst attending a wedding in Yea.

Jan was a fantastic host! She greeted us with a warm welcome and some helpful instructions. We also admired her lovely garden with a lovely variety of produces. The cabin itself was perfect for the four of us. All appliances in the kitchen worked perfectly which made cooking every night that much easier. Our beds were also one of the most comfortable ones among all the Airbnb stays we had. The unobstructed view of the meadow outside our cabin was simply gorgeous. Seeing all kinds of animals like cows, kangaroos and horses up close were the highlight for us city folks. Overall we can’t fault our stay and will recommend to anyone who loves a change of scene and a quiet and peaceful stay.

This stay truly exceeded our expectations. The peaceful countryside life here is absolutely enchanting. Carl and Donna gave us such a warm welcome — they provided clear guidance and were kind enough to chat with us and share the local history of Jamieson, which we found really fascinating. The cottage was clean, cozy, and full of charm, with a lovely backyard to relax or play in. You can really tell they put heart and care into what they do. If only we could give more than five stars — it truly deserves more. And the autumn scenery here… absolutely breathtaking. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of such an inspiring lifestyle

We loved out stay at Eileen's place, it was extremely spacious for 6 adult guests and we loved the back yard and deck which is where we spent most of our time. It was an extremely hot weather weekend and with no ceiling fans we did find the bedrooms quite warm and stuffy with no air flow; there was one pedestal fan in the main bedroom but it was very noisy on high, knowing the weather was going to be hot we did take one of our own. The air conditioning in the dining and kitchen area however was a godsend. We were looking forward to using the bbq for breakfast but it did not have a solid grill plate so we just cooked the eggs and bacon inside in the frypan. The location is fabulous, a very close walk to the main shopping area and the hotels where we were able to walk for dinner and lunch. Also close to the parks and river for swimming. We were in Euroa for a wedding just out of town so this was perfect accommodation for us. Would definitely stay here again. Comms with Eileen was 🙌

Wonderful cosy little private cabin for family of four with enough amenities to cook. Will definitely stay here again when we're headed to Mt. Buller.

We had the best time at Namparra Leigh. Such a beautiful setting and so much fun for my young kids and dog. Pool was a bonus as it was a hot weekend! Loved heading up the rocks and getting a visit from Sookie the gorgeous black cow. Marj the host was so lovely and accomodating. Absolutely perfect little weekend escape.

We had a truly wonderful one-night stay at this peaceful farm cottage. Even though it was a short visit, it gave us the perfect break to unwind and reconnect with nature. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. We especially loved spending the evening by the outdoor firepit, it was such a beautiful spot to relax, and we were lucky to share it with Max, the sweetest dog. He’s such a gentle soul and he made us smile every time we saw him. We also enjoyed a lovely walk through the paddocks and got to meet some of the animals. Tab, the host, has clearly put a lot of care into creating a space that feels both comfortable and inviting. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it really made the cottage feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, heartwarming escape even just for a night!

The property was stunning, a beautiful home on a beautiful farm with cows and free range chickens. Kids and I loved hunting for the chicken eggs each day and the swimming pool was amazing in the dry country heat! Sue provided detailed instructions to find the property which I was grateful for Google maps would’ve added 20 mins onto the already long trip if I didn’t have Sue’s directions guiding me!

Narelle was incredibly easy to contact and responded quickly, making the booking process seamless. The house itself was amazing spacious, clean, and well equipped. The highlight was definitely the beautiful farm setting, with cows and chickens roaming freely. Sitting at the dining table while watching the cows walk past was such a peaceful and unique experience. The rooms and bathroom were generously sized, offering plenty of comfort, and the pool was a fantastic addition for relaxation. The entire stay was truly enjoyable, and we felt so connected to nature. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you Narelle once again.

Absolutely adored our stay here. It was the perfect space for our pre-wedding prep - thank you to Leanne and David for being so welcoming and accomodating to having our wedding photos on their gorgeous property and lots of other cars present on Saturday morning. The property is stunning, the cottage is gorgeous and with the backdrop of the cathedral ranges, you cannot get much better than this. Izzy, the black lab, really topped it off requiring infinite pats (which we were VERY happy to provide!). Thank you so much Leanne and David!

My partner and I stayed at Phillipa's place with our bridal party for our wedding in Milawa. The house and property was stunning. So many beautiful old trees and a really incredible house. We had such a great weekend and loved being able to wind down in the pool with our friends, was the perfect venue. Also having 4 queen size beds was great - made sure everyone was well rested! We were also lucky enough to be able to get some of our weddings photos at the property which will be a great memory for us all!

From the moment we were greeted by our host, in such a kind and welcoming way, we knew this place was special. Linda had arranged for the wood fire in the lounge area to be lit so it was toasty and warm upon arrival, adding to the ambience of an already stunning property. We were the first of our party to arrive, and it was a privilege to witness how amazed each of the following groups were with the location and the home, with each person expressing how lucky we were to find it. Outside, the kids ran free among the gardens, swimming in the pool and riding their bikes. Inside, the cinema was a winner, as were the games and puzzles in the library. The kitchen has more than any chef could ask for, and the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Small touches like the local Dindi soaps were appreciated in the bathrooms. The guest book contains a wealth of information, and the property walking maps were fantastic. Immaculately clean and well presented, definitely 5 stars.
