Monthly Rentals in Bongiorno

We had a lovely stay here and found it very peaceful overall. The drive in would have been gorgeous but there was so much rubbish / fly tipping on the sides of the road (this isn’t the fault of the Airbnb, just something to be aware of as some of it had been set on fire too). Once you reach the dirt road it’s pretty rocky so you’ll need to take it very slow in your car - the instructions provided were quite clear but a couple of signs along the road would have been really helpful. Basically when you think you should stop driving and turn around, keep on going. You’ll see a water tower in the distance so just head for that! Our greeting was lovely and the tent was set up beautifully. There is a gas cooker to make food (a BBQ would have been even better!) and a cooler. It was very windy so that’s just another thing to note and we were super sad that it was cloudy so we didn’t get a sunrise. But we did get sunset which was stunning! We would recommend but 1 night felt like plenty!

We were sad to leave Antonella's home. It is in a beautiful location right by the sea. Antonella was a wonderful and always available host. Trapani, Erice and San Vito Lo Capo are all a 30 min car journey away. The Villa is a perfect location as a base to explore the western side of Sicily or you can just relax, enjoy the villa and the gentle sound of the waves and practice on the piano :) Thankyou Antonella.
