We are in awe with how amazing this place is. The river is a joyous sight to enjoy, the house is comfy, the hosts welcoming, and the drive up was full of grand views. There are trails, games indoors and outdoors, the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen from an Air B&B, and an amazingly relaxing softtub. Wanda and Greg were immediately inviting and let us know in advance what to expect on how to get there and the fun things to do while at Valhalla and in Mattawan. If I could recommend anything to someone coming here it would be to bring a good pair of waterproof shoes and a day pack to explore the mountain paths. They were a great treat and we would walk them again in a heartbeat. There are so many things to rave about at this cozy home I can't list them all here but we will be happy to return and enjoy even more of what Valhalla has to offer.

We had a wonderful stay at this welcoming and inviting cottage. The space was perfect for a larger group, especially on the cold and rainy days when we spent more time in doors. The large backyard is perfect for kids to run and play. One of the highlights is beautiful lake. The new dock is spacious and fantastic spot to sit, relax, and watch the loons dance across the water - such a peaceful and memorable experience. The neighbours were friendly. Highly recommend this spot for families or groups looking for a cozy lakeside gate. You can catch fish off the dock! Or watch black bears for a safe distance in the near by fields

Great place to unwind and enjoy the domain Cheyenne and Jane have, not only for their cabins but that they also use to host events (weddings, high tea,…) Lovely place, nicely homemade cabin. We will definitely return when we are in the area!

What a charming little cabin on a beautiful property. Cozy, clean and well equipped. Even though it rained a lot, we stayed entertained with a pretty great DVD collection in the comfortable living room. The hosts were five star. Extremely helpful and welcoming. I couldn't imagine a better airbnb experience. I'll be back to do some fishing next time.
