We really enjoyed our stay. The property is finished to a high spec and in a great area. there are plenty of dog friendly places to eat and drink within easy walking distance and we found the locals to all be very friendly and chatty.. our big dog is like a celebrity wherever we take him so that's always a conversation starter! For other dog owners - the yard is VERY secure and you can enjoy the sauna and hot tub without worrying about them. There are light coloured carpets in some rooms downstairs but I had read that on previous reviews so bought many blankets and towels to cover the floor where the dogs would walk and lie.our dogs wouldn't go to the toilet on the yard and the grassy area isn't enclosed from the owners area so we made sure we had them on a lead. Not really an issue but I didn't realise the garden wouldn't be enclosed..only mentioning it to help others. We didn't get to meet Scott but when I had a question he was always super quick in replying .will definitely be back

I booked this accommodation for a newlywed couple, and they absolutely loved it! From the start, Louise was an incredible host—her communication was excellent throughout the whole process, which made everything smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was the thoughtful surprise she left for the couple—it completely made their day and added such a personal, memorable touch to their stay. The place itself is stunning, with beautiful views and a relaxed vibe that's just perfect for a city break. Would 100% recommend staying here. Warm, welcoming cottage. Great location. Hot tub a bonus. Jeanette and Jim communicated well, lots advice on walks and places to eat. Very flexible with arrival time if possible. Highly recommend. Definitely be back.

Yardi and Phil are lovely, they both make you feel right at home. Plenty communication before and during the stay. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and you have exactly what you need. There was cold drinks in the fridge, milk, bread, butter and chocolates all provided for arrival, they even gave me a bottle of Prosecco for my birthday. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was very comfy. Robes and slippers provided in the wardrobe for the hot tub. Couldn’t fault our stay at all.

Had a fabulous stay for my birthday, lovely added extras like processco, chocolate and balloons. Loved the dog and chickens popping to say hello. Only thing we wasn't expecting was hearing the people staying in other lodgings, as they had music on till early hours, so not the hosts fault but worth mentioning as you can hear others and not as secluded as expected. But would absolutely visit again such a beautiful place and surroundings.

We stayed with our Rottweiler for my partners birthday and exceeded our expectations. Spotless lodge, thoughtful layout and safe for dogs, the snacks were also a really nice touch, perfect stay

Fabulous little find, few mins walk for the centre. Next to a lovely park and canal which was perfect for dog walks. Loads of nice pubs close by. The famous Hare and hounds only 25 min walk where you can take in amazing scenery. The house itself was perfect and so clean. The bedding smelt amazing and it's the cleanest shower I've ever been in! Not to mention the best: We were left Prosecco and croissants which was a lovely touch. We enjoyed the hot tub and the garden was a sun trap. So enjoyable we didn't manage to go heck out one day! Chloe's communication was perfect and they were really flexible allowing us to drop the bags off earlier and find somewhere to leave the car so we could start our holiday. Will definitely return. Thanks for a perfect stay.

I booked on Friday afternoon and arrived on Saturday, so was all very last minute, Liz kept in touch and met us there to show us around. Place is very dog friendly. Liz also checked in with us during our stay to see if all was ok. We went for lovely walks and spent time in the spa to relax in the evening, just what we all needed, will be recommending to my friends and family 10/10 many thanks 😊

Beautiful little cottage - perfect place to stay for an adventure in the Peak District! Also great for dogs with baby gates installed to keep them downstairs, it’s lovely to have these things already in place!

we had a fantastic stay here. the cottage is beautiful, the garden with pod is perfect to enjoy the local scenery. it was the best sleep I've had in months, so quiet! John was always on hand if neded and very friendly & helpful. we felt very welcome. the cottage has everything you need and more!! I especially loved the history of the house and the way if was decorated/accessorised. my daughter absolutely loved it!! she is 10 and was very sad to leave. I'm certain we will return! the pub up the road was amazing...a lovely walk for tea! food was delicious and very good value. I would highly recommend this cottage and can't wait to come back. thank you John for being a wonderful host and letting us share in the history of this magnificent building.

Absolutely loved our stay at trespass. The cottage was so well equipped, everything you could need had been provided. The cottage itself was a perfect size for a couple, so lovely and quaint, and the location is amazing. We could walk to everywhere and explore the countryside without having to drive. The bed was also extremely comfy. Would highly recommend

As a family traveling with small children we absolutely loved this cottage! Plenty of space with all the amenities we needed and clean. The location is beautiful and within walking distance to pubs, countryside scenery and a great park/playground - my kids loved it! Exactly as described and exactly what we pictured the British countryside to be. We hope to return one day!

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at Woodcock Farm. Very handy for Glossop which is a lovely little town with all the amenities & services you could wish for. Situated at the start of Snake Pass, Woodcock is also well located for access to the High Peak. Beautiful accommodation- Emma has done a fabulous job converting her barn into the 2 cottages - extremely well-appointed & stylish with fabulous views

Wow, wow, wow! Deb and Tim’s place was absolutely beautiful! The surroundings were to die for, the bath was so relaxing! I felt very at home and the facilities and were great! Will be definitely back again soon, thank you Tim and deb!

Beautifully renovated with great detail to warmth and comfort. Fantastic location if you just want to plant yourself and not get in the car again. Endless walks out from the front door. Drop dead gorgeous location high on the hillside at the end of a track.

My son and his family stayed at Andrew’s property while they were visiting us from Australia. It is a fabulous property. Clean, comfortable and, with the log burner going, very cosy. Very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very comfy beds and the little ones loved the bunk beds. Lots of little extras including books, games, logs for the fire and even a BBQ. Ideally situated with shops, cafes and the local market all within walking distance. The railway station is nearby and and the M6 less than 5 minutes drive. Andrew responded to a couple of minor queries almost immediately. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending and would definitely use again.

Awesome spot just away from the promenade. Safe area and easy to get to. We used it as a base for the Blackpool marathon and was perfect for all we needed 👍🏻

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was homely with everything you need. The Lord Nelson pub was just perfect with some very friendly locals and a great pint! Ingrid and Ric were thoughtful hosts who provided us with useful local information and a pint of milk to make a cup of tea at the end of a long journey! A lovely village and an amazing cottage.

Great accommodation in a great location, right in the middle of Hebden Bridge.

Heather was great and responded promptly with any questions and even went to purchase a new hairdryer and delivered it at the property when we couldn’t find one. The house is clean, beautifully furnished and conveniently located for shops and eateries. We were all very comfortable staying there and would definitely book again.

Absolute gem of a house. Mark couldn’t have been a better host. House was spotless and extremely well appointed. Ansdell is a perfect spot as it’s easily accessible to Lytham and close to Fairhaven. My family lives in Lytham and when there is a big get together we sometimes need to find extra accommodation. This has been the best one we have found so far. Thank you Mark.
