It is located in the quiet village of Loquard. It is about 2 km to the dike edge, 1 km to the baker (Rysum), 11 km to other shopping (Pewsum) or 12 km (Emden) The Tidehuus is a good starting point for extensive bike tours in East Frisia.

However, a few fake beaches and the ferry service to Borkum for the real thing. Wake up to cackling chickens under your window. Wood-burning stove, with support of an electric heater. Preferably no employees unless..... Dogs welcome for a small fee.
