The apartment was even more beautiful than expected! Cozy space with an amazing shower, comfy bed and everything you’d wish for. It even had a coffee machine and small kitchen. Hosts were really friendly and made our 1-night stay as comfortable as possible. Would recommend this Airbnb to friends and family!

What a beautiful place! Decorated with love and thought of everything. Cozy due to the decor and surroundings. Beautiful light with the most beautiful sunset I have seen so far in the Netherlands. I came to relax and that worked out! The cackling of the chickens, the nice CDs, fikkie and especially the relaxed atmosphere. Both in the cottage and the host and wife. Hospitality at its best, respecting privacy. The area is beautiful, beautiful for cycling. With the pound, you'll be in Borkum in no time where you'll experience a completely different atmosphere and surroundings. I will definitely come back to enjoy this magical place with these incredibly sweet people!

Elli and Jan are very nice, unobtrusive and friendly hosts. The covered terrace (100% private) with the amazingly sweet red and white grapes is special. ...and also a good thing in mixed shower weather. In general, the garden is a splendor. To say goodbye, Elli and Jan gave us one of their homemade pumpkins. The apartment is quiet, private and equipped with everything we needed for a very nice stay. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, it is a pleasure to cook there, sharp knives, good pots, plenty of dishes and cutlery.

The place was especially clean, easy to find, so comfortable and home like! We visited with my bf and our two friends and loved the place completely. You can see it all in the photos, everything was exactly like pictured. Klaas is the nicest host we could ask for. We needed emergency cigarettes and not only did Klaas tell us where to buy them, but also borrowed a bike to my friend and pointed her precisely in the direction! The surrounding nature is beautiful and there is a nice place to dine just a few minutes away. Thank you so much for this experience, we will be coming back!

Great apartment, fabulous breakfast, warm hostess! We spent two great days in the nice apartment. Jeanet provided toys for the children and gave us great tips for excursions in the area. We had a really great, relaxing time. My kids are already planning when we'll be back. Thank you for everything!

Anne and her son are very friendly hosts that make you feel more than welcome. Anne’s place is extremely peaceful with an incredible view to the horizon from the nearby fields. There were some mosquitos but Anne helped us with a little machine that caught the mosquitos. We had a great time and also enjoyed the delicious breakfast that was even available in a vegan version. Thank you very much Anne. We wish you all the best, Svenja and Anna :)

The three of us stayed in Esther's apartment for a week and felt very comfortable there. The apartment is very tastefully decorated. Everything - dishes, etc., are available in sufficient quantity and quality. There's really nothing missing. For the first day and breakfast the fridge was stocked! We were welcomed with chilled sparkling wine. We especially enjoyed the spacious kitchen-living room, which is the center of the apartment. The apartment is located in the old town of Appingedam, a very nice place and a good starting point for trips to Groningen or Leeuwarden. Highly recommend both. We highly recommend this property and Esther as a landlady.

We had a lovely week with our two children (5 and 8 years) in the cottage on the Schildmeer. We were able to swim almost every day and otherwise explored the surroundings (Groningen, Appingedam, Delfzijl). The amenities are better than indicated: there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand and tea towels and a large selection of cooking utensils and spices in the kitchen. There is no oven, but a microwave where we prepared our casserole. We had a good time and say thank you very much!

The house has a lot to see in summer! An absolute dream with children! We didn't need to do much as we were busy all day with the pool and the many activities in the garden. There is a small cafe right around the corner and Groningen can also be reached in 10 minutes and offers many shopping opportunities. The house is very nicely decorated and there is a lot of space! Please take mosquito spray with you as it is right next to a field. We felt very comfortable ! Johann is very friendly and helpful. Our kids had so much fun and we as parents were able to relax well. In summer the house is a dream ! We would highly recommend it as a family. Thanks for having us as your guest 🧡

What a lovely place! Back in time. Very cozy cottage, with all the comforts. Cozy sleeping in a bedstead, super nice. Marion is a very friendly host, thinks along well. We enjoyed the silence, in a beautiful rural area. Recommended if you want to find the peace and quiet and have the city close by.

Hein's garden shed is cozy and also cuddly warm in winter, the beds are soft and comfortable, the kitchen FULLY equipped and everything is very clean. Beautiful house and garden. Lots of places to sit and you will never get bored, as there are plenty of games to play. The house has a great atmosphere with all the plants and accessories. The house is in a nice and quiet location, but the city Groningen is nearby. The host was very hospitable and communicative!

The beautiful mansion was a fantastic base for our family to visit Groningen and its surroundings. Anat and Boele are very hospitable, the location and the rooms are wonderful. Very nice beds. And the breakfast… wow, what a party: every morning homemade desembrood, pancakes for the children, crispy grenola and eggs from their own chickens. We enjoyed it! Thank you so much, Anat and Boele!
