Stargazer Cottage is an absolute gem! Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the beached, with optimal depth water that made our daily swims unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. They were especially accommodating with our kids, providing plenty of toys and games to keep them entertained. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and boasts an outstanding view that we enjoyed every morning with our coffee. Every detail, from the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen, was perfect. This was a 10 out of 10 experience, and we can't recommend Stargazer Cottage highly enough. If you're looking for a serene yet activity-filled getaway, this is the place to be!

Had a Thanksgiving weekend with my family. Diana’s Birchwood beach house was the prefect spot for our families. Large clean bedrooms. 2 huge bathrooms. Amazing kitchen and dining room. Diana has thought of everything that you would need. This place had it all. Would definitely recommend it for you and your family. Diana was very helpful and responsive. This was the perfect get away for our family. The private fenced in lot had tons of space for our dog to play. The large mature trees felt like we were deep in the forest but the lake was only a few steps away! The beach was clean and private. The cottage was perfect! We felt right at home, with all the amenities that we needed. Moon was easy to deal with and very helpful. We would definately rent again, and recommend to friends and family!

This stay is one of a kind. The cottage is clean, cozy, beautiful, well maintained and fit our family of 5 + our dog perfectly. The yard is a perfect size and the walk down to the beach is truly magical. The sunsets are… immaculate to say the least. This home is located perfectly in my opinion. It’s so peaceful, quiet and serene while downtown is only about a 5 min drive! I was having trouble accessing my email when we arrived so I couldn’t pull up the instructions on how to get into the house. I called Jennifer and she kindly helped me right away! We will be back in the future!! Thanks so much!

This was our second year at Carrie and Dan's cottage and once again my family and I had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly situated on the river with a nice beach and it has all of the amenities needed. Dan communicated regularly and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. This is a beautiful property which anyone would have fun at.

I had a fantastic stay at this little home on the water for my anniversary! The enclosed porch was great for staying warm while watching the moonrise and sunrise. The private beach is a beautiful touch to get down close to the water. The view from this location can’t be beat! We were able to watch boats and birds with ease, and we had frequent visits from a friendly neighborhood cat who made our trip that much more special. The bathroom was a little smaller than anticipated, but everything functioned well and we had an excellent stay. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone looking to relax by the water.

It was a last minute decision to book this and I’m so glad I did. It is a lovely, spacious home that was very comfortable. I liked that the beach was so close for winter walks. The host responded to any questions promptly making the experience totally enjoyable. I highly recommend this home for your next stay!

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! We have been enjoying every single minutes of staying at your beautiful cottage,your hospitality is outstanding—thoughtful, welcoming, and always responsive. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from brand-new essentials like toothbrushes and toothpaste to a well-stocked kitchen. The view is breathtaking, and the hot tub making our stay even more relaxing. Every detail is carefully considered to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I truly appreciate the effort put into making guests feel at home. I would love to come back again and again—highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway!

We loved Michele’s house. It was clean and user friendly with everything we needed. We were a little surprised with one full bath and 2 half baths, but this turned out to be a non-event for us. We had a very flexible schedule and used the primary bath for showers. So no issue. The views, the deck and the seating by the lake were amazing. We enjoyed those both morning and evening. Sunsets were very special Michele was very responsive for questions and gave us exact instructions for entering the house. We were in a well maintained, well loved home and would definitely rent from her again, if in the area. Thank you Michele

The cottage was perfectly quaint and so cozy! Exactly what we were looking for - a place to relax, read, and walk along the beach. We stayed 3 nights in early November, so we cozied up inside mostly, but I could see spending more time down on the beach during summer. The uninterrupted view of the horizon is incredible! (FYI, there are ~100 stairs down to the beach, but it's worth it) Bayfield and Goderich are very close, both delightful towns to spend an afternoon walking around in, visiting the local shops. I would not hesitate to come back again, we felt we very rejuvenated after our long weekend here.

What a cozy, peaceful getaway. Exams in university have been stressful and especially after the winter exam season, Cliff Haven was the perfect, much needed, relaxing getaway. The view from the living room window was a joy to wake up to every day, and the quiet neighborhood streets were ideal for our morning walks. The amenities were all in good condition and there was tons of stuff to do inside on those particularly cold days - playing board games and watching movies on the large screen tv were some of our favourites. Pinery Provincial Park was a beautiful experience as well… We enjoyed 2 amazing days cross country skiing on some of the most amazing trails we have ever seen - quite the hidden gem!! Very comfortable stay! The bed was soooo soft. The location was great as well! We didn't take advantage of the amenities but they look nice. I loved the beach theme decor around the place as it made it very relaxing!

Loved this location - beach right across the road with chairs provided to take over and enjoy! Easy walk to town for restaurants and cafes and shopping. Just a beautiful town and perfect cottage to enjoy it! All the needed equipment and extra provided. Bedding was so lovely! Can’t say enough! Highly recommend!

Our family had a wonderful time at Suzanne’s. The house was very spacious with everything we needed. It’s a short walk down to a lovely sandy beach where we had lots of fun swimming and making use of the paddle board. Suzanne was extremely helpful and communicative. We hope to come back again!

We hosted a girls weekend away at Kim’s cottage & it was perfect for our group of 5! The outdoor space & beach front of stunning! Highly recommend it.

Smooth transaction, great communication, beautiful, clean home, wonderful natural environment, good value too. If you like sunsets, stargazing and beach walks, this place is perfect. I recommend taking a stroll north on the beach to point farms provincial park. What makes this location of Ontario generally beautiful is the cliff overlooking, to the west, the beach and lake huron, which makes for phenomenal sunsets and a fairly secluded beach. The cliff means there are a lot of stairs to get to the beach which is fine except for folks with mobility issues may choose to stay on the beautiful deck instead. Near the golf course.

Excellent stay for beautiful sunsets and stargazing. The place felt very private, calm, and peaceful. The sunset views are the best part during our stay. Plenty of activities to do and it's close to Bayfield for quick errands. Our host, Jacob, is very responsive and communicative. Will definitely recommend.

This home, location, and town are all so beautiful and quaint. The beach is wonderful, the house had everything we needed, and the Alli Bar is such a fun place to grab a drink. Chuck and Dawn are super responsive and kind. We'll definitely try to book this home again!

The house worked great for our girls’ weekend away. The hot tub location was perfect for peaceful evening dips or watching the sunrise after a dip in the lake. The kitchen was well-organized and well stocked with many of the basics - making packing simpler. The guest house (behind the main house) would be great for a second family. We didn’t use it except to shower, but only because we didn’t need the space w the main house accomodating 8+. The paddle boards and kayaks were awesome to have and the beach/water was wonderful for a fall getaway. The house is located right between Port Santilac and Lexington. Both towns have wonderful options for dining and bars (including live music). We golfed nearby on Huron Shores course and love the course and views. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️10/10 would rent again. Only complaint (if you could call it that) would be the hot tub cover is SUPER heavy. So we struggled taking it off and putting back on. But idk if you could get something lighter for a spa of th

We had a wonderful friend weekend at Jennifer's Lake house. Stunning sunsets, tons of room and space for the children to play. Her place was clean and the layout easily fit multiple families. The frozen lake was a one of a kind view and the kids loved having a bonfire overlooking the ice and lake. We hope to come here again in the future. We really enjoyed the lake view from the large windows and being located so close to Bayfield's town center. Would highly recommend for larger groups who are looking for a peaceful and fun weekend away. Thanks so much Jennifer :)

New Years 2024 Getaway (3 nights). The place was exactly as shown in the pictures, spacious and clean. We were a group of 2 families (4 adults & 4 kids total) and the place was perfect. Lots of room for everyone to play & relax at the same time. Big comfortable beds, big open living room, lots of sitting space and big kitchen area. We never felt crowded. Outdoor property and beach are huge offering lots to do ... We're definitely interested in coming back during the summer months!

We had the most wonderful visit at Dewey's cottage. When we entered the house, we were greeted with the fresh smell of a clean house! There were 2 bedrooms on the main floor, and two in the basement. We were two families, so this set up was perfect, as it allowed each family to have some privacy. The pool, big yard and trampoline were all a hit with our kids. The kitchen was stocked with lots of cutlery, plates, cooking items and basic condiments. The beach was within walking distance - and the view of the lake could be seen from the house which was breathtaking. We absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jodi’s Airbnb! The private beach is amazing! Spent most of our time there. Would definitely stay here again :)
