Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Bochum

Cordula’s place is idyllic. The garden is immaculate and a great setting for morning coffee. The apt was super clean and exactly what we needed for our group of 5. The walks along the Rhine were a great way to start the day. Would not hesitate to book Cordula’s place again.

A nice house with plenty of space, in a pleasant area. The kitchen is very well equipped and I loved the fact that all of the cupboards and drawers had little labels on to show what was inside - a handy little touch. The dining area is very comfortable with a large, sturdy table. We stayed for a couple of nights during a period of very warm weather and really appreciated the fact that it was easy to open the very large windows and get a nice breeze blowing through. The only slight drawbacks were a slow-draining shower, a lack of comfy living room furniture (one nice chair - the other two items are IKEA pull-out beds with hard backs), the very heavy door on the dishwasher (the door tension is broken, so it opened without any resistance and nearly flattened the dog!) and a missing garden gate so the dogs had to be kept on their leashes when in the garden, but these are very minor things when compared to the positive points about the accommodation. I would happily stay there again.

I travel a lot with AIR BNB privately and for business at home and abroad. This was really the most professional place I've ever rented. Everything available, there remained nothing to be desired. Welcome beers, water, modern coffee maker nespresso, everything where you can expect it. DAZN on TV , state-of-the-art equipment, flame newly renovated. Simply 5/5 stars. Even a high-ranking Karen would find something to complain about here. Thank you for everything.

We enjoyed our short trip with the group very much and had a great time in this very nice and spacious location. A really perfect place to stay for our stay. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The location is ideal for exploring the area and check-in went smoothly. We felt very comfortable here and can highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful day at Karen‘s house nestled in the woods in an old disused quarry. We even spotted some wildlife and an owl. Karen and her husband gave us a warm, friendly welcome and made recommendations of local restaurants and cultural attractions in Dortmund to visit. Karen went above and beyond and also posted me an item that I had forgotten and left at the house.l, which we thought was so kind and thoughtful. The house is in a very quiet, peaceful area so you’re guaranteed a good night sleep. The house is spotlessly clean and comfortable fully equipped kitchen and good shower. Easy access to the city by car or taxi. Also a really good restaurant serving traditional German food a five minute walk from the House called WurstHaus Krämer. I would highly recommend this house and wouldn’t hesitate before staying there again when visiting Dortmund next time.

Really kind people and lovely place to stay

Me and my wife stayed here for a few days and found the place to be tidy, comfortable and Andrea & Michael even had breakfast food, drinks and a meal prepped just in case we needed it. Very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Ingrid and Reinhard are very loving and helpful hosts. They were always there for us when we needed help. We felt very comfortable in the apartment from the first. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this place. Every morning, beautiful birdsong is guaranteed. A big plus is the location away from the city center, a good neighborhood for jogging. I recommend it!

We had a wonderful time with our almost three-year-old son here at the beginning of the world, where you are so close to nature as you rarely are anywhere else! Forest, meadows and streams! Cows, chickens and the secret owner on four legs, plus the tranquility of nature and an incredibly hospitable and warm atmosphere. The house is spacious, lovingly decorated and therefore invites you to linger even on rainy days, which we unfortunately had in part. Highly recommended for families! We will definitely come back for another relaxing break. Thanks for the great time!

Aggi & Lars were very friendly and likeable hosts, the apartment really nice and clean and the location a dream. We felt very comfortable with dog and two toddlers and are happy when we have the opportunity to spend our family vacation there again.
