Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Blue Ridge Mountains

The apartment was thoughtfully appointed and scrupulously clean. I hesitate to add this, because I felt like McKayla was doing me a special favor that she might not be able to do often. My situation was a bit atypical because I was renting the place for a young friend who was moving to town for school. He had to arrive before his apartment was ready and, well, he's young and inexperienced. McKayla was so supportive, helpful, and understanding. We needed to unexpectedly extend his stay and she was still flexible and really wonderful. I will sing the praises of this apartment and our terrific host! great for a longer term stay and very comfortable! McKayla: you have fans who think you rock!

I had the best time staying here- I was staying here for a work trip, but I hope to be back to spend more time on the lake in this cozy and comfortable apartment. I usually have a hard time sleeping, but was able to peacfully sleep in this quiet, safe, and clean apartment with such a comfy bed. I felt right at home. Mickey and Ann were lovely, friendly folks who were gracious and loaned me a kayak when I had a free afternoon. Will definitely book again when I'm back in the Clarksville area!

We really enjoyed our stay at Amy’s place! The apartment was very cute and homey with all amenities you could need. The location was great for exploring some of the parts of New River Gorge National Park off the beaten path, and it was beautiful and peaceful being right on the river. The trains passing by were a bit loud during the night and the water did have a sulphur smell, however, those things are listed in the description of the apartment, so it did not impact my rating since we came in knowing what to expect. Amy was also a very responsive and friendly host!

Irene was amazing and the apartment was absolutely perfect to stay nearby family over Christmas! It meant the world that it was decorated for Christmas and so cozy. The full kitchen was perfect to cook in multiple meals over our trip and Irene even left a popcorn tin as a sweet gift! So thankful and will certainly be back!

We were very impressed with the condo! Clean and updated! Beach was steps away! We really liked decor and homey feel of everything! Felt more like walking into your home than anything! Highly recommend! Lauren is extremely fast to respond and always had the best and most helpful answers! Do not hesitate! You must go!!!!

My dog Sheena and I had a wonderful time again staying at the Tiny House that was so thoughtfully created! It was very comfortable, peaceful and very clean, and had the amenities listed. David was a responsive host and a pleasure to speak with. It's our favorite place to stay when in North Carolina!! Thank you again David for such a wonderful experience!! See you in a few months.

We felt very much at home. It was peaceful and comfortable. I loved all the plants throughout the apartment.

This is a great little place to stay. My wife and I in several of our friends stayed here for a couple days. The super restful and the lake was beautiful, especially in the morning when the sun came up :-) Maighen and Shawn we're super friendly and communicative. We would definitely stay there again if we're there :-)

We always stay at Sophia’s place when visiting family in Lumberton and Fairmount NC. Sophia’s place is always clean and the area is very peaceful, we love it here.

The house was very easy to find. It is close to many different restaurants and grocery stores which was very nice. Hosts respond to messages quick and are very helpful when it came to checking in. I had a group of 6 guests and everyone loved the space/area. We all felt right at home.

Susanne was extremely helpful and responsive during my stay. The house is beautiful, I loved the neighborhood and how I felt at home!

This was one of our best Airbnb stays ever!! Elisabeth was an excellent hostess and thought of everything. The house was well equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy a relaxing weekend. We brought our German shepherd with us, so the fenced back yard was amazing. The house was super clean, close to everything, and in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Would definitely recommend and we definitely will be back!

I feel fortunate every time I get to enjoy Timothy's Beach Adjacent home when I visit Wilmington. It's always well supplied, very comfortable, peaceful and thoughtfully designed! Cheers to Timothy: another very enjoyable stay and another job well done!

There are not enough adjectives to describe how great Wes was to us. He helped us park our big rig in his own spot, lent us his car! Allowed our dogs to play in his big backyard and gave us wonderful suggestions for playing in the area for the day.What a wonderful guy. We feel we made a new friend. The bed was super comfortable. the coffee was great and the place was really quiet. All in downtown Asheville

Great stay at a great location!

I was a little apprehensive renting a room in a condo but I was welcomed the moment I arrived and felt at home right away...host gives you your space but is also there if you need her. Only thing that was not perfect... is the bed was too firm for my sleeping preference.

The stay was absolutely perfect. The space was clean and we were truly able to relax. The check-in and checkout process were really easy. It was just really hard to find the bikes and lockbox and figure out the parking and getting into the building. Otherwise, it was absolutely amazing especially the bathroom. We will return if we decide to visit Raleigh again.

Our stay was perfect and the Airbnb was exactly as described and seen in the pictures. I went for a festival so the location was perfect since the festival was in Raleigh. Area where the Airbnb is very peaceful and quiet. Parking is right outside to the apartment and you can see the parking lot from the bedroom window. You’re on the second floor of an apartment complex. You’re very close to downtown which is nice because everything is so close. Grocery stores, restaurants and gas stations are close. Duke University isn’t far from here so the area is nice to walk around. Was concerned about what the neighborhood looked like since it was my first time in NC but had no problems here. If it helps there are locked gates into the complex so people can’t just wonder into the complex without the code/keyfob. Ellen was very helpful from the moment I booked all the way to checkout by being very responsive with anything I needed and just proactively checking in.

If I could rate higher than 1 5.0, I would. Beautiful unit. Beautiful view. Cozy, warm, quiet. Communication with management was stellar. Incredible response time. Upon arrival, and in a mountain-y area where there was no cell phone coverage, the unit Wi-Fi functionality was addressed immediately, and swiftly. Our daughter was behind us about an hour, and regular cell coverage made it impossible to contact them and direct them in. Wi-Fi was reconciled in the unit immediately, and no connectivity issues persisted. Thank you to Stephanie and her assistants. Thank you for allowing us to stay and have an extremely memorable trip aboard the Polar Express!! Happy Holidays, and Merry Christmas!
