We loved this little cabin so much. I am not exagerating when I say we honestly did not want to go back to our real home. Lol. We want to go back! There is so much more to do in the area that we did not get to do. The whole family enjoyed everything the cabin and location offered. Thank you!

The view was absolutely perfect and the spot was so peaceful for a weekend getaway to celebrate my boyfriend & I’s anniversary. Everything was clean and organized in the house. I felt like I never needed to reach out for any help because Mia gave great clear directions of what needed to be done and what was available at the house. If I ever find myself in blue ridge again this is the spot I would stay every time!

This was the perfect relaxing, tranquil cabin to kick off my mom’s retirement! The cabin was even more beautiful in person, had everything we could possibly need, extremely comfortable beds, cozy screened porch and an absolutely gorgeous mountain and sunset view. We did not want to leave! Everything was perfect and Chelsea was so responsive and kind!

Unbelievable cabin!! I took my wife here to celebrate her 40th and reconnect from a busy life with three kids and opposite schedules. Words are not enough to describe how amazing our stay was. Farm fresh eggs, a fire ready to start, and even a special literary surprise were just a few of the little touches that brought our stay to another level. Thomas and Mallory were always available, checked in on us to make sure our stay was smooth and provided wonderful recommendations for the area. We hated leaving but cannot wait to return one day!

Beautiful, clean and had a great time

This cabin was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I, plus our 2 pups, stayed here for our honeymoon. We had a relaxing week enjoying the hot tub and various balconies! Our pups loved having the zoomies and looking for deer in the backyard. We highly recommend the 4-hour Blue Ride Scenic Railway tour, The Black Sheep, Mountain Mama’s, and The Copper Fox! We will definitely be back! :)

This was the perfect location for a nice quiet, peaceful family retreat. We loved the location, the house was perfect and offered so many nice little touches that made our stay extra special. We will definitely be back!

Too short but a wonderful weekend stay in the Ellijay area! The beautiful and spacious home is about 15 mins to down Ellijay and nearby to many activities. It had everything we needed and I especially appreciated the provided hand soap in the bathrooms. The home has fun amenities like cornhole and retro acrade games (Pac Man was a hit!) We all enjoyed the hot tub and ability to have private spaces as desired. The Coosawattee River Resort roads- thankfully paved and easy to navigate - are winding and very hilly. We traversed the area to find the rec center and enjoyed a simple mini-golf course and pickleball. We enjoyed the Tumbling Waters Trail nearby at Carter's Lake and loved our dinner at Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza.

This place is phenomenal! Even with bad weather there were a ton of games and enough space to be warm and cozy. We have so much fun inside and out. North Georgia has beautiful places to visit and, if you like stones and crystals, fun places to do simple mining. The house is wonderful, very clean, well equipped, just bring your food. Corey, the host, is great communicator and always responds my messages quick. This was our 2nd time and we are planing the return.

Tree Oasis!! Bird Dog Lodge is perfect for a getaway. Very clean and great when traveling with pets. Bobby is super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here! We’ll definitely be back!

We booked a last minute family trip and the kids really enjoyed everything the house had to offer. The game room was fun and enjoyable for all of us. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking amenities we took advantage and enjoyed cooking family breakfast during our stay.The coffee bar was a big plus! The hot tub was clean and really hot for the cold weather. The scenery from the porch was beautiful. We did have trouble checking in because the door lock was not working but after a few minutes of reaching out we finally got help. Something that I did not like was the living room carpet was beyond dirty and stained up. We had 4 kids under 5 and I didn’t want them playing with their toys on the rug they should have it steamed and cleaned if not replaced and the house was a bit dusty on most the shelves. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay here!

After local weather ruined our Spring Break plans, we made a last minute pivot to this cabin and couldn't have been happier with the decision. The location was perfect for a relaxing weekend. The majority of our time was spent next to the river or on the porch soaking in the view. The layout was great for our two families giving everyone plenty of room. The cabin was well furnished and had everything needed to cook several meals. Overall I would absolutely recommend.

My son and I enjoyed our trip to GA and Megan’s place so much! The details of the cabin were thoughtfully put together. As others have said, we spent most of our time on the screened in porch enjoying the beautiful views! The place could use a good dusting and there were ants throughout the cabin. We were there during the rain and it is a cabin so I understand a few ants coming inside. Thanks for being so accommodating since we booked a little last minute!

Amazing cabin!!! 5 stars! Beautiful property, very private. The cabin was very clean! Beds are comfy! The kitchen has everything you need and more! The hot tub is very clean! We loved the dock! We brought our boat, the boat ramp is very close by. Easy to find the dock from the water on the boat! The outdoor soace is amazing and peaceful! Definitely book this cabin you want be disappointed! Host is very friendly!

Great location. Even though we had bad weather we had a great time. Enjoyed the hot tub and the swing on the porch. The cabin was super cute and the view was amazing!

We loved this lakeside cabin. Both the cabin and exterior were very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The screened outdoor patio was great for meals. We really enjoyed the kayaks and hot tub, as well. There is a short walk to a beautiful waterfall. Access to the cabin was easy. Sarah, our host, is an excellent communicator. We had a wonderful stay at Michael’s cabin. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The views of the lake from the cabin, the hot tub down by the lake and the canoe were some of our favorite things about this cabin.

This was the most peaceful getaway that my family has had in 3 years. It was everything that was described. The kitchen has everything needed, which is hard to come by. Super comfortable beds. Very nice bathrooms. Everything was very, very clean. We fished, kayaked, and swam in the river. Made s’mores almost every night in the big fire pit outside. My kids really enjoyed swimming in the cold water then jumping in the hot tub to warm up. The views were spectacular. We had deer around us constantly and we got to see a bear which was very neat. We hiked nearby trails and saw some beautiful waterfalls. We visited blue ridge for a day and had lunch. It was just a great stay and everything we needed! Thanks again!

Sheena was very friendly and accommodating during our stay. The place was clean when we arrived and the views were gorgeous. Sheena even provided a handwritten note that was waiting for us when we arrived. Would recommend!

My dog and I loved this place. It was perfect for us. I loved the upstairs living room loft it was very cozy. While It was just my dog and I, I did notice a separate sort of in-law suite you access privately on the lower level of the property and I think people with families would love that. I picked this place because it was relatively close to blue ridge lake. Overall, great experience. I would recommend a stay here.

The hot tub offers relaxation while listening to the creek in the evening. Guests can expect restful sleep in the comfortable beds. A short hike leads to a picturesque lake and chapel, with nearby trails to beautiful waterfalls. I will definitely return for an extended stay.
