Family-friendly vacation rentals in Bloomfield Township

Lisa and Phil have an amazing place and go above and beyond as hosts! They had fresh pastries, fruit, and flowers waiting for us. The kitchen is well stocked with pantry essentials and cooking gear. The property is immedicable and exemplifies Phil's wood-working craftsmanship. We took full advantage of the hot tub and also a tour of Phil's downstairs wood shop. While initially concerned about the train, we found it an exciting perk and our sleep was never disturbed even without ear plugs. We were lucky enough to be able to stay for 2 weeks and will definitely be recommending the "lodge" to friends and family!

We had a wonderful stay, in a beautiful home and neighborhood. Our hosts made us feel right at home. It was an inviting and charming house. The deck and backyard were perfect for a small, family graduation gathering.

Warren, Nathan, and John (who we didnt have a chance to meet until the morning we were leaving) were amazing hosts, guides, baristas...and beautiful humans. They were so nice to talk to and made us feel very welcome. The house, the hot tub, the beautiful surroundings, a coffee shop in the backyard...everything was exactly as described and so much more. We have already been checking our calendars to find a weekend to go back!. Definite ten out of ten...and I'm positive our dogs would agree too :)

Nick is a great host. We had a crazy late check in, and he didn’t sign off until he knew we were squared away (2:00 am). The location is nice and close to everything you want to do in downtown, but kinda tucked away and quiet. We would definitely stay at Nick’s again.

Adam has a great place. Everything in the house is very nice and sturdy. The fenced in yard is fun for kids and adults. The neighborhood and the surrounding area is amazing. Adam is a proactive host with a quick response time. Would definitely come back and stay there again.

Thank you so much for opening your lake house to our family! it's absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we needed! It was so amazing that we decided to stay an extra week!!!

We stayed at Joseph's with our two young kiddos for three nights. We are super happy we found the house available and it lived up to its description 100%. The place is super cozy. The kitchen is GREAT. The main bedroom has a better mattress (and far superior pillows) than the JW Marriot we stayed at three weeks ago. Medium firmness and ultra-supportive! 10/10 on the mattress & bedding. THANK YOU!!! For the kids: The downstairs play area was much fun for our 4-1/2 yr-old girl and the air hockey was a blast. The bathroom had a kid's stool and the tub was kid-friendly (and still very comfortable for an adult). The house is very kid-friendly, but note that there is a staircase to the basement which is open to the main level. This was not a problem for us as our 1-3/4 yr-old was finally slightly intimidated by something (or he just didn't feel like making a break for it). For toddlers, you might ask about a gate. We would absolutely stay here again w/wo kids!

This is the second of Jennifer’s listings we’ve stayed at and it was just as cozy and clean as the first! Jennifer is a very responsive and friendly host, and the house was clean, nicely decorated, and easy to settle into. Would happily stay again.

We had a lovely, restful time at Simon’s place. Everything was great, just what we hoped for! We will definitely look to stay at Simon’s place if we visit Dearborn again in the future.

OMG - I stay at a lot of lodging throughout the years. If I had anything to gripe about I would definitely write it down here. Nathan went way out of his way to accommodate us, way more than anyone ever has in this business. And not just moving the schedule around for us and working with us in every way possible, but also LISTENING to what we were saying, and then later, DAYS later, getting back to us to see if he could help us find another place if we needed to stay longer (this place was already booked beyond our scheduled stay.). That and on top of well-wishing us with out project while we were in town. Incredible. Kudo's to you Nathan. I hope you have a huge success with this property for many years to come.

Auntie Blondie (as she told me to call her) was an awesome host. She was very thorough giving me a tour of the property and was a phone call away when I needed anything. The location and views were great for the price and would recommend this property to anyone in the area. Thank you again for allowing us to celebrate in your property.

I’m so glad we chose this location! The indoor pool was a major highlight, it’s what sold us. The kids had a blast swimming without us having to worry about the weather. The area itself was peaceful and relaxing, and we were lucky enough to have clear skies to enjoy some stargazing. The home was stocked with fun extras like board games and pool toys, and we even got to enjoy a cozy little bonfire. The house itself was lovely, and I especially loved the kitchen, it had everything we needed. This stay definitely ranks as one of our favorites!

My family needed a larger place to stay over the holidays and we required a decent kitchen because we like to cook meals all together. This property met our expectations for every meal we had planned. The beds were clean and the rooms were all sufficiently sized for our needs. The additional amenity of having the indoor pool during the winter was great for all the kids to have an activity to do that they enjoy. This house has clearly served multiple generations of families and it made a nice touch for my family holiday. The host was available to message the entire stay and it didn’t feel like a problem if we needed anything or for questions. The secluded location was wonderful to wake up to but a little tricky to find in the dark for the first time check-in. All in all a very positive experience staying at this property.
