Very complete, including 2 complimentary bicycles and a Chromecast for rainy days. Interesting for you to know is that we blok 2-3 weeks every year in order to do maintenance on the house. The rest of the boat is a shop with sailing / marine equipment and a bunker station. The entrance is due to the age of the ship a small steep stair, keep that in mind. The surrounding is a lively harbor with sail-ships and cruise-ships. There is a parking available for €5 - a night very closeby. So enjoy the sound and movements of the water!

We stayed with friends (3 couples) in Maria's beachfront house.🌊 The accommodation is big enough for 6, clean, bright and pleasant to live in. Easy parking at the foot of the house (free parking). The sea is right across the street, accessible in 1 min walk via a small staircase: a real plus! The place is quiet, in the countryside, 30 minutes from Amsterdam, perfect for relaxing with your feet in the water, while visiting the area. Small downside in summer: beware of mosquitoes in the evening, it is better to avoid opening the windows. 🦟 Maria was very responsive, welcoming and available, she had also left a very practical little description with the activities nearby and the Amsterdam metro lines. 👍🏻 We recommend this accommodation for a weekend by the sea and/or a relaxing tourist stay! ✨

The sleeping area contains two beds, one with dark bedding and the other with light bedding. Nightstands are positioned beside each bed, and decorative elements are arranged on a nearby surface.

Due to my work, I searched for three days near Hoorn station where I could retreat and rest from a working day. That was exactly what I found. A compact apartment with everything you need. I slept well in a good bed. Plenty of towels provided and also in the kitchen all the necessities to prepare something yourself. For me also very important that there was coffee available:-) Hoorn is a surprisingly nice city and this apartment is a great starting point also for a weekend away!

De Smederij: characteristic apartment

We had a wonderful week at Theo & Ageeth’s property. They were very welcoming and had plenty of ideas for local trips to check out the sights. The bed is extremely comfortable, add to that the quiet surroundings, and we slept very well. The kitchen is well equipped and has most everything you need to prepare your own meals. While there is no oven the microwave does double duty. The apartment has a wonderful outlook to their beautifully manicured garden. We used their bikes to discover the local area which is also very beautiful with spring tulips and flowers. Highly recommended.
