Clyde Luxe Retreat

An immaculate and luxurious air bnb. Everything seemed brand new. Very homely and comfortable and a great size! The hot tub was the cherry on top of the cake! Sandor and Paulina are wonderful and responsive hosts! Hunters quay is a great base for exploring Argyll and Loch Lomond!
A tranquil garden area features a variety of lush greenery, including a vibrant red maple tree. Stone walls remain from a historic bakehouse, surrounded by winding paths and colorful flowers. The scene is enhanced by natural light filtering through trees and open spaces.

Pier Haven

HeleneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Just back from a 4-night stay at Pier Haven. My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing time. Blairmore is tiny, but absolutely stunning and as peaceful as it gets. The flat is just above The Blairmore café, which is a most-go-to place. The accommodation was very homely, clean with a nice kitchen, lovely bathroom, great shower. It was chilly the first day we arrived but it was very comfortable after a bit of heating. The view from the living room and bedroom is breathtaking! We saw a small group of porpoises on 2 occasions, so do bring binoculars! Getting up early at least once to experience the magic of dusk, is an absolute must; you won't regret it. My husband did it twice and he had a lovely encounter with an otter! Phil was a great host, responding very quickly to our every question or need. He is very knowledgeable about the area. Everyone we have met during our short stay on the Cowal peninsula has been super friendly, regardless of their nationality. I can't wait to go back!
The Victorian villa is shown enveloped in snow, featuring classic architecture with ornate windows and a gabled roof. Snow blankets the front yard, where shrubs and garden plants peek through. The surrounding landscape includes trees partially visible in soft, muted tones.

The Coach House at Otterburn

VickiRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Modern conversion of a coach house. Lovely fixtures and fittings. Great view over the loch. It might be tight for four people in the two bedrooms if you have a lot of luggage. However, as a couple, we had more than enough space as we used the front bedroom for luggage. The heating sometimes comes on at night, so more information on setting the radiators in the booklet would be helpful. However, the place was very well heated with underfloor heating, radiators, and a free-standing radiator, so it was warm and cosy.

A serene waterfront view captures gentle waves reflecting the soft colors of a sunset. Hues of orange and pink blend with the deep blue of the water, while distant hills outline the horizon under a fading sky.

Off Grid Hideaway on the West Coast of Scotland

EmilyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Our stay at Heartstone cabin was the perfect get away that we needed at the end of a very busy and stressful year. We loved the calm serenity that the cabin and its stunning surroundings gave us. Bryan and Jeannie couldn’t have been more warm, welcoming, and helpful. The area offers some beautiful walks and beaches which our dogs absolutely loved. You do need to be prepared with food/drink as the closest shop is a 5/10 min drive away but Jeannie and Bryan left some food and goodies for us for our first night. The cabin is off grid meaning limited electricals and only two USB plugs for charging but handily there are a load of games - we particularly enjoyed Boggle. The log burner is easy to use and heats the cabin quickly. The kitchen has everything you would need and makes excellent use of the small space. The shower is powerful and warm. We loved our get away at Heartstone cabin and hope to return soon.

Lovely stay nearby de loch. Friendly host. I would certainly recommend it!
A comfortable chair is located by a large window, offering views of the water and distant shoreline. A soft, light-colored throw is draped over the chair, and a book rests on a nearby table. Natural light floods the area, enhancing the serene setting.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Celia’s lovely quirky apartment. The views of the changing skies over the Firth of Clyde will stay with me for a long time.

Seal Cabin - A wee piece of Scottish Luxury

HarrietRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a brilliant 4 night stay at Seal Cabin with our dog - so peaceful, cosy and had everything we could possibly wish for. We loved waking up to the views of the beautiful loch everyday (and seal watching!) and it was a perfect location for walking in the local area and driving to visit other areas. Iain and his family were really friendly and gave us some great recommendations around the area. Would highly recommend a stay at Seal Cabin!
