The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. We had such a beautiful stay, Sarah's property was just what we needed. We will be back again for certain. The property smelt beautiful the moment you entered the door, it is finished beautifully. The beds are comfortable. The views are magnificent. Local pubs, restaurants and amenities are welcoming and delicious.

Shirley and Jane’s cottage was lovely. Situated above the main road it was peaceful with lovely views across the valley. Parking was easy directly outside. The lounge had comfortable furniture and the kitchen quite well equipped. There was a dishwasher, also laundry facilities in the cellar, but we did not need to use them. The central heating was also available if we required it. We appreciated the “welcome” items that Shirley had left for us. Upstairs the two bedrooms and bathroom were easily accessible. The wardrobe in the double room was not accessible for an older person, a step required as it was a cupboard over the stairs and quite high. Otherwise the room was fine. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower was good. Access to the property was good. Shirley met us and showed us where everything was and was easily contactable should we need help. The cottage is well situated for access to Hebden Bridge and on the outskirts of Todmorden.

Kizzie’s place is absolutely gorgeous and was perfect for my husband and I. Didn’t need the car at all and the centre is just a few minutes walk away. Lots of bars, cafes, restaurants to choose from and lovely little shops to browse in. We went to the cinema too which is a few minutes walk away and had a lot of character. Beautiful surroundings, lovely walks down the canal or sit in Kissie’s garden. Bed was so comfy and we slept so well. We will definitely visit again. Thank you!

Back home after a wonderful stay at Pine View Lodge. Julian and Sarah Jane are amazing hosts, so helpful and the place is stunning. Wonderful views, well equipped and comfortable. Julian checked in on us and made sure we were all settled in after arrival. Excellent communication before and during the stay. Thanks so much Julian, just what was needed!

We thoroughly enjoyed 6 nights here and came back rested and refreshed. The view from the sofa is beautiful and it was very quiet. It was a lovely surprise to hear curlews and cuckoos all day long. The kitchenette has everything for cooking simple meals and nearby May's shop was handy for buying food etc. There are loads of footpaths nearby so this is a great base for walking.

We had the most amazing time in your home Stuart and Angela. ❤️ You made us feel so welcome from the moment we stepped in. The views were breathtaking and the peace and quiet at the cottage was just what we needed. The views of the village, the sun set and the full moon were all beautiful gems we got to experience at Top of t’hill. You really have made it a cosy and comfortable stay, and it was a perfect getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The gym and sauna were great facilities that we benefitted and enjoyed too. Your eco environment friendly home and surroundings was an inspiration to us. Finally, your hospitality and kindness, and lovely chats with us made us feel like old friends! A lovely couple of nights in Hebden Bridge - very spacious property in a quiet location. The host was extremely friendly and helpful particularly with recommendations had a fabulous lunch at Marco’s Italian cafe and a night cap at Fox and Goose . Very easy to take train to Halifax for a concert at The Piece Hall - A fantastic weekend .
