Vacation rentals with a kayak in Black Hills

Ken is extremely responsive and helpful! We enjoyed our stay with our two young sons and plan on visiting again in the future! Highly recommend Ken's place if you are in the Black Hills!

We've stayed in a lot of "cabins", but this is the real deal! It took a bit of time to figure out where all the lights were and get our bearings, but once we had, we were soon settled in. It was actually way better than the photos, which was a relief, LOL. Cierra provided a helpful house manual and lots of labeling and notes throughout the cabin. We were far enough off the main road that it felt quite private, and the driveway was a good little walk for us and our pups. There was some road noise, but it quieted down at night. We slept on the jackknife sofa because it was lower to the ground, and it was very comfy. Washing dishes was a bit tricky due to no running water, but that was expected. The outhouse was no problem and was far cleaner than the average vault toilet in any public park. It was a great base for exploring the incredible Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and all the little tourist towns in the area. We enjoyed our stay so much, we hated to leave!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We just stopped for one night on our cross country road trip with 3 people and 3 pets. Wish we were able to spend more time to enjoy the grounds but we LOVED the cabin and the view is absolutely incredible. The stargazing at night was breathtaking as well. I’d always wanted to see devils tower and this was perfect! We arrived late at night and it was still easy to find and access and the heat was on and it was cozy for us. We had service (Verizon) at the cabin and for a lot of our approach coming from boise. Kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed and more, they left out packets of oatmeal and coffee fixings which was sweet. Plenty of games to pass the time too. Loved all the little details and decor they placed, super cozy. We’ve already sent this to other friends and recommended they stay. Very peaceful and beautiful view. We could have sat out on the deck all day. Stop in to devils tower view cafe for breakfast! Great food and friendly

Beautiful, renovated vrbo! Beds and pillows were comfortable. Extremely nice to have attached bathrooms. So cutely decorated. Lots of room. Nice downtown location with a bar/eating place right across the street. Loved being able to bring our dog with and an outdoor area for him. Parking right infront of unit. Would love to stay here again. The only thing is if you have small children the creaky wood floors are noisy but adds to the ambience!

We wanted to relax and enjoy spending time with family and in the water. That is exactly what we did!! The house was great with amazing views, we really enjoyed the deck view. we had everything we needed and plenty of space. Would stay again!! Thank you!

We stayed here while attending a high school basketball tournament in Moorcroft. The location was great the house was super comfortable and had what we needed for 4 of us. We ate at one of the bar and grills within walking distance which was great. The beds were very comfortable. We would love to come back again to check out more of the area. Our stay at Joy's French Creek Hideaway was nothing short of spectacular! The house is beautifully furnished with a warm and inviting ambiance, and the surrounding land is clearly nurtured with care. The natural beauty of the area is breathtaking and provided an unforgettable experience. Joy was incredibly responsive and supportive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
