Crazy Horse (14' tipi)

Crazy Horse & Custer traveled this way to Devils Tower. This tipi can comfortably sleep 4 adults. Each tipi has as two burner stove, 3 gallons of water, a pot, coffee fixing things, a propane lantern and a solar lantern. There is no electricity on the property and an outdoor solar shower available if desired. Sleeping places (pad, sheets, blankets and pillows) can be set up for a total fee of $30 for 4 payable on arrival; more available for $10. Please request this when making a reservation.

Rushmore , Devils Tower and Rapid City is not far. Great center location. On scenic Crook City Road (paved road). This rental is brand new. King bed, two full size bunks. Plus couch and table fold out to bed. Indoor bathroom with shower/tub hot water. Outdoor kitchen is a great addition. Short gravel driveway with incline.

Restroom-guest fav, a few minutes’ walk and located in a shared building, not in unit, pictures in listing. AC in summer (June 1) and electric heater in winter. Non aggressive dogs. No bathroom in unit! Self-check in. Directions are sent the morning of arrival. No WIFI // Dome undergoing remodel, decor will be different than pictures

The campground backs onto the Black Hills National Forest which is over one million acres, located in Custer, SD. We are close to Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Jewel and Wind Cave, Needles Highway and Iron Mountain Road.
