Campsite vacation rentals in Black Hills

We were in town for an event at the Monument Summit Arena. This house is conveniently located approximately ten minutes from the venue. It is also located near shopping centers and restaurants. Dace and Lanette thoroughly covered everything in their visitor guide. It is a peaceful setting both inside and outside. It had the perfect amount of space for our family of four. This home was very clean. We highly recommend staying here.

They couldnt have been better hosts. when my son felt sick Bruce sent feel better wishes. Very friendly. Will help at a moments notice. pool was clean. restraunt great. just a peaceful quiet relaxing place. have been there 2 yrs in a row and will return again. Thanks Bruce!!!!

Juliana was a wonderful host. Staying in a tipi with Devil’s Tower in the background has been on our wishlist for years. Our family had a wonderful time and Juliana was so helpful and kind. Our tipi was clean and perfectly arranged for our night. We opted for the bed linens and they were clean and the sleeping mats were already made up for us. The only thing I would suggest for campers, is to bring an air mattress if you would like a more cushy nights sleeps. The mats were fine for us and our family though! We only had time on our trip for one night, but will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Great experience to sleep in a Tipi. We even woke up and saw a couple deer as we got out of the Tipi. The best part of the stay was the host who was so helpful and friendly. We received some great suggestions from the host on what we could see on our drive. Very helpful.

The directions to get there were very easy to understand. I had trouble finding exactly where I was supposed to park when I got there, however, the stay was pleasant overall.

Absolutely beautiful place to relax! This is a great get away for someone looking to find some peace in nature. The camper has everything you need to be comfortable. If you’re looking for “convenience” this is a bit out of the way on a dirt road without any grocery stores or restaurants nearby. The host may have some eggs and baked goods for purchase. Our only regret was not planning a longer stay to really take advantage of how relaxing and serene the land is.

The stay at Matt's place was great and suited our needs with our two year old and our dog. It's a great location outside of Custer State park and was just off the beaten path. We had everything we needed and if we had a question, Matt was very responsive!

Awesome location, Awesome hosts, Awesome price! Hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is right outside of town in a quiet neighborhood. Me and my children loved our stay.

Absolutely one of my favorite places I have ever stayed on vacation! So cool and unique and quiet and peaceful! Beautiful surroundings! Lots of bunnies and antelope! Awesome outdoor scenery and furniture. Definitely worth it and will be coming back if we ever visit this area again!

The location was great and the camp host was very friendly and helpful.

This is our second stay at one of John's glamping tents and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The effort that went into the design and build of the Gold Digger tent is truly something that sets it apart from anything else you will find. Pictures don't do it justice, it's beautiful and the surroundings are amazing. This place needs to be on everyone's bucket list! Can't wait to stay again!

This place is incredible! Highly recommend. Interior was clean and comfy. Outside area was lovely and we enjoyed the views and firepit. We only booked for one night but liked it so much, we stayed for 2!

To whom it may concern: I had the pleasure of staying in the RV for a few days in June 2025. This unit is completely furnished and very comfortable. Should you wish to dine in, the kitchen is complete. The living quarters is rather spacious and comfortable. The bedroom is occupied by what feels like a brand new king-sized bed. I slept like a king, anyway. Of course, occupying the RV affords you with all the amenities that goes with the property, which are varied and goes beyond the splendid scenery. You will not be disappointed with this option should you stay in this attractive environment.

Alicia was very responsive and open to any questions we had. The place is very peaceful and felt welcoming. The animals are a great bonus and we loved to say hi to them. Just a short skip away from Custer Park.

We loved every minute at this stay, one of our favorite airbnb's to date! Perfect for a family or two couples. Beautiful views and peaceful surroundings with a lovely fire pit and nice grill. The camper was spotless and well stocked. Comfortable firm memory foam beds and soft linens. We looked forward to returning at the end of each day. Would stay here again and again!

We had a fantastic stay at Michele's camper in Rapid City, SD. Located on a charming farm, the camper was spacious enough for our group of five adults and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The amenities were just right, and the setting was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Michele and her husband were incredibly friendly and communicative, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They even gave us a tour of their beautiful farm and greenhouses. We were delighted to buy a fresh veggie box and eggs directly from them, which added a special touch to our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be back to stay at their camper again. Highly recommended!
