The dome is located on a top with forest around, but with an open and beautiful view over the valley and towards the mountains in Trollheimen. From the parking lot it is about 600 meters to walk, wear good shoes as the trail goes through forest and a bit of marsh. In winter, you have to ski or snowshoe as there is no paved road.

The house has three bedrooms with a double bed in each room, one bathroom, large kitchen with all facilities, large dining table, and a cozy little TV corner. There is also a pleasant attic room available. There are good opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and there is a play area for the children.
