It is also possible to take the express boat that stops just down by the quay (3 min walk) and takes 35 minutes to Bergen city center. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the tranquility. There are also great hiking trails close by.
