Sophielund is a very large, unique and beautiful country estate located in scenic, quiet surroundings with forest as a neighbor and close to Gudenåen. You can walk, hike, run and cycle (mountain bike) and swim. Train station 1 km. Shopping 800 m. The property is located between Viborg, Aarhus, Silkeborg and Randers. If you are a large family or a smaller group (max 8), Sophielund is the perfect place for fun and activities. Charging of electric car - on Østergade or at the local Brugs - about 700 meters from the property.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. We offer a cozy house, originally from 1890, which we have renovated with a gentle hand. We have a nice, functional and fully equipped kitchen. Play one of our many board games or enjoy our cozy garden. The house is located in a small village, but close to a larger city, Kjellerup (4.3 km), with some shopping opportunities. The house is centrally located in Jutland, close to the beautiful towns of Viborg (20 km), Silkeborg (20 km), Aarhus (52 km), Billund (80 km).

Boligen ligger helt op ad landevejen men har lydisolerede vinduer. Men støj fra trafik må forventes- særligt i hverdagene, hvor der kører lastbiler og traktore og ved høsttid. Free coffee, tea and in the fridge I have put some drinks and fast food, if you arrive late you are welcome to take them. No TV but Wi-Fi. Small kitchenette with microwave, toaster and airfryer. I live within a short distance, so I can quickly be there if you need help or need anything.

So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. Quiet overnight stay in the charming country house, on a large natural plot. Enjoy the view of the glacial meltwater ravine and the neighbor's grazing cows right outside the front door. Take a walk on the large natural plot, in the forest on the slope down to the small stream, hang out by the small garden pond or get your heart rate up on the garden trampoline. Say hello to the hedgehogs, deer and pheasants on the grounds.

Newly built annex from 2024 in a quiet setting. Located 10 km from Herning and 12 min drive from Messe Center Herning. It is furnished with a double bed (140x200 cm), a table, two chairs, a bathroom with bath and toilet, and a kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Service is available. The annex is heated and has hot water.
