Wow - we can’t rate the outlook highly enough! Communication was excellent throughout and check-in was really easy. The place itself is fantastic - a gorgeous, cosy space, spotlessly clean, with a beautiful view of the sea. The garden was ideal for letting our dog out before bedtime, which was really handy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing night in, and we loved spending the evening on the sofa enjoying the sea view. The shower was fantastic too - just what we needed after a 15km coastal walk! Saltburn is a lovely place to explore - we’d definitely recommend a wander along the beach, fish and chips near the pier, and walking part of the Cleveland Way if you’re up for a bit of a challenge. We also treated ourselves to a coffee and biscoff blondie at the hotel after check-out - genuinely one of the best puddings we’ve ever had! We can’t wait to visit again - thank you so much for a perfect stay!

Had a fantastic stay at Kris’ place, what a little gem! Great area, loved walking in Jesmond Dene and a short distance to the city centre. The hot tub was a lovely luxury, but the property is amazing in itself, very well equipped, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were staying with a young baby and it was really appreciated that the travel cot was there set up ready for us, we’d highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future if we’re in the area.

Staying at Sue's cottage was amazing. The host was so kind and helpful. Picturesque area, cosy home with all amenities you could need. Access to a paddock for some off the lead fun at this time of the year was amazing for our dog Storm. We made use of it everyday of our stay. Definitely will be back we enjoyed our stay so much.

My wife and I stopped here for two nights to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We were provided clear instructions and were pleased to see the place was spotlessly clean. The amenities were excellent which included washing up needs, Dyson airfan, coffee machine, slippers, dressing gown and a brilliant tv/sound system. The hosts made us feel like home and Fiona gave us some great recommendations in the area. We were even assisted with a lift to the nearest town when we struggled with taxis. I’d recommend anyone staying here to book taxis in advance. We were greeted each morning by a warm welcome from Blue, the friendly black Labrador who is not shy to sit and watch telly with you! 🐶 What a perfect place with friendly hosts and a lovely dog. We’d love to come back in the future. Thank you!

Me and my husband visited as a family with our 8 year old daughter and two tiny chihuahuas. Our dogs can be a bit happy which was absolutely my motivation for picking this location, secluded quiet and most importantly the courtyard area with the hot tub was entirely secure. Meaning we could relax in the hot tub without worrying about any unexpected puppy escapes. The place itself was beautiful inside , the only bathroom is in the main bedroom but in a family setting this is absolutely no issue. It was the perfect setting for cooking, playing board games and watching movies. We were able to walk the dogs, spend time as a family and all had a comfortable uninterrupted nights sleep. I can see us returning for sure!

We had the most wonderful time at Joanna’s lovely cottage. It is even better than we imagined! The garden space was perfect for our dog, she could stay off the lead and we knew she was safe because of the wiring on the fence. Great location with lots of walks that were recommended on a leaflet left in the cottage which we found really helpful too. We would definitely return and recommend to others! Thank you again 🥰🥰

This place really took us by surprise. We drove 5.5 hours each way, just to visit and our biggest regret was not booking longer! Worth every bit of the money and drive. The place was private and peaceful. Very safe and secure and very quiet so you can really enjoy yourself. Really feels like you have the whole place and surrounding areas to yourself! Utensils and appliances wise you could see Jane has real care and attention to detail, everything you could need or think of was provided. And that too of high quality not just your budget items. The bbq was a proper bbq which was a joy to use. The hot tub come with lighting and jets. Even the pots and pans were tefal! A lot of time and money has gone into it all. Garden was well lit also for those late evenings. Was lovely to meet Ben also. So much more to say but we won’t ruin all the delightful surprises! Very happy with the stay and we will be back for sure. Thank you! And see you next time.

Lovely place for a break! The bath outside is heavenly. Had one bath under the stars and another at sunset with all the birds. It’s lovely being so near the abbey and the tea room is gorgeous. Highly recommend doing the walk via footpaths to East Witton and the Blue Lion - food looked amazing and although they were fully booked for dinner was able to have a drink. Instead went back along the footpath to cover bridge inn which is also a great pub with lots of dogs and a roaring fire, bit less posh but still had a great Sunday dinner there.

We've just returned from a short stay at my happy hounds. Our glamping pod Hugo was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless considering these are dog friendly. The welcome pack was also a nice touch with all quality items. We have 2 dogs one that is very nervous, he settled in well as it was peaceful and private and having ample space for them to run and play at the pod and the secure dog fields, these are a great facility for anyone traveling with a dog. It's only a short drive to find local amenities and finding my happy hounds was easy with Google maps being accurate. The communication from Harry was excellent with plenty of information and help if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already started talking of booking again for the future. Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at Pete’s cabin. It was lovely and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing. Pete was always on hand to help re heat the hot tub. The fresh eggs from the hens were a great addition and were very tasty! Overall it was an amazing stay and would highly recommend Pete’s cabin to anyone wanting a lovely peaceful get away!

The most perfect stay for my partners birthday. The lodge itself was clean and had everything you could have wanted. We forgot milk, but he provided sachets of milk as standard. The views out the hot tub were incredible. Lots of details like a speaker system in the ceiling linked to the tablet and Netflix already logged in. A peaceful and relaxing stay and will definitely be returning.

Jordan was a fabulous host his communication from start to finish was so friendly and prompt and the flat was exactly as described , beautifully presented and immaculate . The views over the Tyne are lovely and it is about a 30 minute walk along to the great bars and restaurants along the quayside so you are away from the bustle in a quiet residential area . We were there for the unforgettable Caraboa Cup celebrations and could easily walk up into town , one of my highlights was a run along the quayside seeing the iconic landmarks in the early morning . Thank you Jordan for the thoughtful goodies on arrival ! Highly recommend this stylish and comfortable property and we hope to make a return visit .

The only difficulty we had was the smart lock once we got the hang of it was not a problem. The house was very clean and had all the necessary facilities. The parking was spacious enough for two large vehicles with Lidl supermarket more or less on the doorstep. Next time I am in the area would like to stay here again

Ideal hub for myself and kids. Very comfortable, excellent kitchen and fast broadband. Would have preferred a better parking spot as I have a large car and needed to mount full kerb to access parking. I didn’t fancy parking on street as it was adjacent to small junction. We had a wonderful stay at the Seaview Penthouse, the beds were super comfy, the place was modern, cosy and spotlessly clean. We would definitely return here, it was beautiful to look out onto the sea every morning from our bedroom window. It also helped we had amazing weather for April! Thoroughly recommend The Lamp Room for breakfast, though do book if you can as it's super popular. Easy access to the Park & Ride for Durham and for visiting family in Sunderland, and collecting seaglass on the beach just down from the property is a great way to while away an hour or so. Communication from Melanie was prompt and she gave us plenty of info about the place in advance. Thank you again Melanie! We hope to come again soon!

Really enjoyed our stay with Julie and Jamie. It was easy to find No. 15 and easy to park very close by. Jamie greeted us and showed us up to our apartment, which was clean and warm. He offered to help us with our luggage. They had made it feel very homely from the decor and soft furnishings, to the truly excellent human and dog welcome baskets. The immediate location is excellent, full of restaurants, cafes and pubs within 5 minutes walk. In the welcome folder is a list of recommendations on where to go with a note of whether they are dog friendly or not. Really helpful. The beach is literally at the bottom of the street and my dog loved maurauding around after the ball, Julie had kindly popped in the dog welcome box. It's about a 10 minute walk to Spanish City, along the beach/promenade or to the main street, which has some nice independent shops and an excellent craft beer tap room/bottle shop, Nord.
