Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Billingstad

The communication with the host is very smooth and prompt. The scenery around the accommodation is good, and the amenities are very well equipped. It's near the end of the bus, so transportation is good, and the grocery store is close, so I highly recommend it.

A great spot to end our vacation to Norway. Far enough from downtown to be quiet and close enough to get to great restaurants. Great spot for a family of 5 and easy access to the airport! Highly recommend

Our family had a great stay at Shezana’s. The trampoline and yard was a highlight for the kids enjoying the longer Norwegian summer nights. The main level was the perfect hub for us all to gather and relax; plenty of seating, large dining table, and plenty of space for the 6 of us. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. The location was also perfect for us, a quick drive to the train into Oslo, Joker grocery store walking distance away, and just a great home base for our adventures.

Highly recommended! Incredibly friendly host, available for questions and tidy home. In addition, the view from the second floor was fabulous. Will be happy to visit again in the future 🥰

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

Beautiful cottage in a charming neighborhood. Everything is in it. The host thought about the guests' free time, there are bicycles, games, rollerblades and many other equipment. You can come here for longer with the whole family. I highly recommend it.

Worth it for the stunning view. As others have said its like staying in your grandparents house but that is part of its charm. The drive is steep but not that bad. Per responded well to enquiries.

My parents stayed here for a month and loved the place. It’s cozy, the hosts are wonderful and the location is close to a beautiful forest. We would love to come back.

I had an incredible stay at Ida's place! Communication was quick and helpful and the apartment was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Location was perfect – close to public transportation and local attractions. I especially appreciated the small touches like the welcome snacks and a guide to nearby restaurants. I would definitely recommend Ida as a host and hope to stay again in the future!

Great, very clean and beautifully furnished accommodation. Public transportation is about 6 minutes' walking distance. We had a lovely few days in Oslo. I highly recommend this place.

Inger was not there for my stay so we had the whole place for ourselves. There is everything you could need to stay there for a couple of days. The apartment was very cozy and the balcony was a very nice touch. The location however was not ideal. We had a bit of trouble finding the bus that takes you to the center and they don’t come that often at night. The building is very quiet and private. The fireplace was lets you keep warm and feel very at home. Everything was squeaky clean and clearly labeled to let us know what we could and could not use. Comfortable bed for a couple. In short, I really enjoyed my time here, the only thing that could get better would be the location if you plan on doing some tourism but this is also clear before you book it. Would recommend!

We had a lovely stay in this cute little loft. A little listening from the bathroom into the neighboring apartment, but it went well for us. We slept well in the double bed, and otherwise found what we might need in a well-stocked kitchen cabinet. TV with many channels and some movies and books provided more possibilities. Charming skylights with a view to the fjord. The coastal path is definitely and recommend! Slemmestad builds up, and in the temporary barracks town we found, among other things, a library, a cozy bakery/cafe and a pottery workshop with the most lovely Easter hens! An exciting area, so I'm sure we'll be back!

It was a pleasure to stay at Farina’s home. The location and surroundings were great and has very good transport links to the rest of Oslo. The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Julie and Christian’s home for 2 weeks. The hosts were very gracious and responsive, providing us with recommendations and always available when we had questions. The house has ample windows with gorgeous natural light. My two kids, 2 and 5 years old, loved the playroom and trampoline, as well as their lush garden. The location on Bygdøy can’t be beat; a stones throw away from trails to take you to the different beaches, the grocery store is very close, as well as the bus stop to take you to the city. And, if you decide to go for a walk at dusk, you might be fortunate enough to cross paths with baby deer or a fox. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. It felt like a home away from home in the best way.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Arrived late after our flight was delayed but Camilla was easily contactable and getting a taxi to the property was easy and everyone was super happy with the house once we arrived…A little trip to the roof for a moonlit view over the fjords was and Oslo lights was magical and was a great start to our Norway trip - the views from the property in general was a highlight of the whole trip. The property was really well styled and functional - couldn’t have been more happy.

After a friendly welcome by the host with recommendations for excursions, we had wonderful and varied days in Norway. Within ten minutes walking distance there is a small lake nearby that invites you to relax and swim. Also beautiful beaches on the fjord are not far away. Oslo can be reached in a short time by car or train (we did not try) - there we enthusiastically visited the Technology Museum, the Fram Museum and the Norwegian Folk Museum and enjoyed the view and the zip line from the Holmenkollen Schanze. Other excursions to Gaustatoppen and Sweden were also very exciting. On quieter days, the children (8, 10 and 12) had a lot of fun with the toys we were allowed to use at Jostein. Thank you for the great time!

Beautiful location. Is a true farm house setup separate from, but right next to the main house (which is host occupied, I believe). Is rustic with some nice updates (eg. bathroom). Lots of space - very comfortable for 4 of us and with room outside to exercise 2 big dogs. close to ski trails, very convenient to the airport, and less than an hour to the heart of Oslo.

We were extremely impressed with the property. After an initial walkaround my husband was very complimentary about the fixtures and fittings, although wondered about the amount of space available. I then pointed out to him that there was an entire downstairs he hadn't looked around yet... a huge playroom area, a cellar, another bedroom, bathroom and laundry facilities. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others, and when we return to the area will definitely be checking availability!

Absolutely stunning place! Maybe the best jacuzzi and sauna we have ever been to. Perfect for our family trip with loads of toys for all ages. Professional Cross Fit Studio, great kitchen and workplace, fast internet and the best view ever. We’ll definitely be back!
