This is a great cottage on a great lake. Paul has thought of everything you need to have an amazing lakeside vacation. The deck and landscaping are phenomenal, the dock setup was great for our kids to fish from and play on. We boated and kayaked the lake daily exploring all the bays and islands Big Gull Lake has to offer. The cottage and bunkie were both private, well kept, and welcoming. Definitely a cottage we will return to.

We had a lovely stay at Ashton's cottage. The area is beautiful and the cottage is very clean and comfortable with everything we needed! The owners of the Kirk Kove resort were extremely friendly and helpful too. We would definitely go back with our kids!

We had an amazing stay! Communication was excellent from the very beginning. The house itself is absolutely beautiful: perfectly equipped with everything (and more!) you could possibly need, and decorated with so much care and warmth. The area is so peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and relaxing. The lake is incredible, we loved canoeing and just enjoying the views, especially from the house, which are breathtaking. It was everything we were hoping for!

Had a fantastic stay at the cottage for a week! The place was very clean, had a very well equipped kitchen and tons of activities for the kids to do. Beautiful view with a fantastic lake to swim, fish and kayak in. Jennifer was also quick to reply to any messages we had and gave us detailed information before our arrival and checking in to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. Definitely recommend it!

This cottage was an absolute gem for our family getaway! We were looking to truly disconnect and immerse ourselves in nature, and this place delivered perfectly. We loved the "off-grid" feeling and the profound quiet. While the May weather was a bit cool, we saw it as a plus – fewer bugs to bother us! The hot tub was a wonderful treat, and we spent lovely evenings around the fire pit. The kids had a blast exploring the tree-lined path to the dock, where they enjoyed fishing. Inside, comfort was key: the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and we never ran out of hot water. The kitchen was impressively equipped with all the cooking tools one could need. To top it all off, the hosts were very responsive and helpful. This is a beautiful home, and we'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.
