Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Bicester

We had a beautiful stay at Vanessa’s place. It was clean, tidy, and just what we needed for a little break in the Cotswolds. Would highly recommend.

Our family of 7 stayed here for one night while we visited the Warner Brothers tour. The house was staged perfectly to get families excited for Harry Potter. The house was full of Harry Potter decor, linens, costumes, knick knacks, and games. We all loved it. the backyard had a great space for hanging out as well. The parking space in the backyard is greatly appreciated. We were able to fit our Mercedes v series 300D in it and that was such a relief to not have to find street parking.

What can I say about this wonderfully quaint and quirky cottage that hasn't already been written? Probably nothing, but once you've picked your jaw up off the floor it's impossible to not be totally besotted by this hidden gem nestled in the heart of the English countryside, the pictures really don't do it justice. Our initial exploration of the spotless interior was way beyond our expectations, it's simply stunning and is the perfect blend of old and new. Everything we needed was provided and the comprehensive notes provided by Sue were more than adequate in providing clear directions and instructions for the various appliances, etc. Our stay surpassed our expectations in every way possible, if you've ever wanted to stay in an authentic cottage with a truly spectacular garden and doorstep access to to miles of public walkways look no further. Finally, a huge thinks to our wonderfully responsive host Sue for offering this property on Airbnb, very, very highly recommended.

Had a girls trip at Amelia's place was nothing but short of perfect. The smallest room is a bit tight but apart from that, loved staying in Amelia's place. It had a well equipped kitchen and the beds/pillows were so comfortable! I'd love to stay here again

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Dairy to celebrate a special 40th birthday and it exceeded all our expectations. Miranda was a fantastic host, went above and beyond with local recommendations and clear instructions, and the flexible checkout was a much-appreciated bonus! The Old Dairy is a stunning property with lots of great touches and is finished to a high standard - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. We also very much enjoyed the daily visit from the 2 lovable labradors!

We had a lovely few days at Bakery Cottage. Such a beautiful location and within a short drive from most of the places you’ll need to get to in the Cotswolds. The cottage was perfect for our needs, we felt at home from the moment we stepped inside.

We stayed in Nadia´s house for 3 months and we felt at home there, everything is as described in the ad, the mattress is really confortable and we slept like a log there, the bathroom has a perfect shower, the washing machine and all the appliances work really well, the kitchen is well equipped with all you may need and more. Apart from that, the house is full of light because it has two beautiful windows through which you can see a wonderful garden. We were lucky because we stayed there in spring and the tree was full of stunning flowers. We only slept in the bed on the "ground" floor, but there is also a mattress in the loft you can use if you have children. The neighbourhood is peaceful and safe, and it was a pleasure to walk from there to the bus stop listening to a wide variety of birds´ chirps. There are also supermarkets, pubs and restaurants in the area, and a bus stop within walking distance, so it is well connected to the city center. We´ve had a wonderful stay!! Thank you!!!

Absolutely perfect spot to explore town/ places of interest. Peaceful and safe location. Ideal parking. As described. Everything needed for a long weekend stay. Quick response to messages over left item and arrange to forward on 🙂

We loved our stay at The Old Post Office. Elizabeth was a great host and made us feel welcome and right at home. The location in Broadway can’t be beat and we would recommend Elizabeth’s home to anyone wanting a great base to explore the Cotswolds.

Lovely apartment with everything we needed and more! Very welcoming to us and our dog. We shall be back!

Lovely place to stay to explore Cotswolds. Clean and peaceful. Just a few walks away from the well-known Arlington Row. Anne is very nice to provide us breakfast. Easy and smooth check-in and check-out also.

4th time I’ve stayed. Nice clean flat in superb location near Westbourne Grove, good pubs and coffee shops away from the bustle of Portobello Road but close enough by to wander over. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. All in all a really good flat

Neil’s place was ideal in so many ways. I was in London for an intense exam week, held nearby, and needed a place to base myself. I loved that the area was buzzy and alive yet the apartment was still quiet and I could concentrate. The bedroom in the back was very peaceful. There was everything needed in both the apartment (full kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine with iron and ironing board, clothes drying racks etc) and from the immediate vincinity from nearby supermarkets, exercise places or a walk around Hyde Park. Transportation was very easy, being a one minute walk to Notting Hill Gate tube with access to the Central, Circle and District lines. There are also plenty of bus stops (I took one across the road to Paddington station the day I left) and walking is possible to lots of places. I couldn’t recommend this place enough if you’re wishing to experience a cool neighbourhood in London.

Afsoon was a wonderful and attentive host. Easy to communicate with and keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house is immaculate and peaceful - I could lie in bed and listen to the birds first thing. She offered to cook us dinner, for very reasonable price, which was a delicious Persian 3 course meal. We stayed here as we had to be at Dorney lake early. Although close to the lake, it is a bit of a drive to get to the other side. I would highly recommend staying here.

A wonderful period home full of original features. Very beautiful, comfy, spacious place to relax, and a stunning garden, with a great view of the church.

Lovely stay. House was spotless and very spacious. The estate has great facilities (pool, spa, tennis courts, etc) and we loved having access to the lake for paddle boarding. Would recommend the private chef from Ballihoo on the estate. Alasdair was a very helpful and responsive host.

We had a lovely time at calm waters, the house is beautiful… the pictures don’t do it justice! The best thing about the house was the rooftop that gave us somewhere to sit in the sun all day, whereas other houses in the lake only benefited from morning or afternoon sun. A very comfortable clean spacious place to stay with full range of facilities and wonderful hot tub. A great scenic outlook over the lake and easy walking access to the spa close by.

We stayed here with four children (ages 2 to 6) and it was great. Lovely living area at the top of the house and plenty of space for everyone. We were very lucky with the weather and could eat outside on the balcony for most meals. Lots to do on the Lower Mill Estate for families. We would come again.

Oldbury Barn is in a lovely location in the countryside with great views (though tricky to find, so the 'what3words' helped a lot!). The house was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Plenty of pots, pans, mugs (!) utensils etc for a large family group. The open plan nature of the kitchen/diner/lounge is great for a multi generational family gathering like ours, as you are always all together in one huge room. However, note that its a tiled floor and there isn't much in the way of soft furnishings so noise echoes around a bit and can be heard from all bedrooms - but this is only a problem if you have very young kids going to bed early or getting up early! The 2 ground floor bedrooms are large and with lots of storage. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small with very low ceilings and little storage - fine for kids but we were were 7 adults and one toddler, so that didnt work brilliantly for us . The "slight height restriction" in the description is quite an understatement!!

A beautiful bright spacious modern house with wonderful views across the lake. It is just like the pictures or even better. The lounge and bedrooms are so comfortable and the kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything you need. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here.
