Comfortable stay at a lovely house. I was visiting with my relatives — a group of 4. Different places within the house for us to sit and relax. Weather was quite nice at this time of the year. short day trips are possible to Bhimtal, Naukuchiyatal, Sattal, Nainital, etc. The staff at home made the stay so much more enjoyable. The cook prepared meals as per our liking and helpful staff kept the home clean. A wonderful stay and a wonderful property!

Beautiful cottage with a pristine view of the Bhimtal lake. You can enjoy your morning coffee/tea with a clear lake view from the balcony or the garden and marvel at the stars in the night. The caretaker Pawan was very helpful, proactively reaching out to tell us about the cottage details and how to reach the cottage. He also helped us procure anything we needed. He also suggested a restaurant which could deliver food to the house. You can also hire a cook if you wat. The rooms are clean, spacious with 2 huge drawing rooms. Nothing fancy, but everything was maintained and as per the descriptions. The approach road is a bit tricky as the cottage is on top of a small hill, but Pawan helped us easily navigate to the house. Lots of eateries nearby, but you'll need to make a small trek up and down the hill or use a car. There is ample parking available at house. Definitely recommended for groups of 4-6 people looking for a relaxing vacation.

It was such a joy to interact with Snovi the dog and the friendly birds, they made the stay even more special. The host was incredibly helpful and made sure we were comfortable throughout. The food was super delicious—home-style and full of flavor. We also requested some decoration, and it turned out beautifully! Highly recommend this cozy and magical stay.

Staying at Sojourn with Nyoli was pure magic. Tucked away in the hills, it’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and breathe a little deeper. The approach was a bit tricky, but the hosts were so proactive and supportive — they guided me through every step, which made arriving feel like being welcomed home. I stayed here with my three dogs — and they were in heaven! The property is genuinely pet-friendly, with plenty of space to roam around, play and explore. We all felt so at ease! One of my favorite parts of the stay was learning that Nyoli means birdsong in Kumaoni — and it’s so fitting. The property was alive with the sound of birds, from morning till evening. The staff were incredible — kind, attentive, and full of stories. The Kumaoni food was a highlight: simple, flavorful, and made with so much love. Every meal felt like it belonged exactly where we were.

Singing Winds is a beautiful cottage with a very peaceful surrounding. Mihir and his team was really helpful and made the stay extremely comfortable for our group of 7. They reached out to us proactively and ensured everything was available for our comfort. The garden and the treks nearby were beautiful and the cottage has also been designed very tastefully. The last stretch to the cottage was a bit of a difficult drive but totally worth it. Had the most amazing time at the cottage. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting!
