We had such a memorable stay in Scarborough with Sebastian at Ballygate. We all felt the house had a welcoming and family-friendly energy. It felt like the house was filled with many family memories as it certainly will live in our memories forever. The place was perfectly situated with endless views of the mountains and rural areas of Scarborough, yet a quick walk to the beach. We spent every morning sipping coffee watching sunrise from the patio, walking the length of the beach, exploring the Cape and then catching sunset back at Scarborough. Sebastian was always immediate with everything we asked. He was friendly and helpful and his instructions couldn't be more clear. The house has everything you need and it was cozy and comfortable for everybody.I have nothing horrible to say about Ballygate. we will most definitely make the 30 hour flight again just to stay here with Sebastian.

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing time! The communication before our check in was amazing and Amanda already made me feel so comfortable. When we got there the place exceeding our expectations, the pictures does not do it justice at all, everything was absolutely spotless and perfect. Thank you Amanda for making our stay so amazing and so comfortable, we cannot wait to be back later on in the year!

Perfect getaway spot in beautiful Hermanus! The location is fantastic –private, and close to town (walking distance). The firewood hot tub was such a treat, and the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place perfect for a weekend away to unplug. All the farm animals are super friendly and the farm itself is beautiful. The place is super comfortable and quiet and has all the amenities to make you feel cozy and right at home. The only minus was that the kolkol was a bit green but that should be pretty easy to get fixed. Overall, we definitely recommend staying there.

What a Gem of a place on the most beautiful apple farm. The cottage is perfectly positioned to access the most amazing mountain bike trails in the surrounding area. The rooms are spacious and modern, giving you the feeling of luxury, yet still on a farm enjoying the smells and feelings of not being in town. Dwayne and the team were extremely good at communications too and allowed for a seamless stay. Keep it up team, amazing work.

This is a lovely cottage with a peaceful atmosphere and fantastic mountain views. There were a couple of snags during our stay, but the hosts were quick to respond to any needs

We absolutely loved our stay! Every second of it was incredible. The place felt so homey and cozy—it instantly made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The outdoor area was especially beautiful and added such a peaceful vibe to the whole experience. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making this space special. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

The pictures looked beautiful but were nothing compared to the real deal! A wildebeest was strolling past the cottage on arrival, with more wildlife gathering within 5 minutes drive. We watched a stunning sunset from the lookout point and then had spent time watching the stars from the hot tub. A personalised welcome letter and gift of rusk was waiting for us on arrival, along with a file filled with information regarding nearby places to visit and information on the local wildlife. I only wish that we could have stayed longer. We could easily have spent a week there without running out of things to do and see. So grateful for the experience!

The place look exactly like the photos. The surroundung are beautifull and peacefull, perfect for vacation.

10/10 spot in gardens! Super cozy and has everything you would need. Private and tucked away in the back, fast WiFi, comfy bed, good kitchen and 3 lovely dogs on the property 🥹 super close to Resturant’s and main action, but tucked away where it feels private Molly is so kind and welcoming, she made the stay effortless and I can’t wait to come back . Don’t miss this gem!

I use Airbnb A LOT. I book 3 or 4 places a month & I must say, this is definitely top 5 for me! We felt right at home from the moment we checked in! Jay was a ray of sunshine. Her lovely energy makes you feel like you are meeting an old friend. She took the time to read my profile & seeing that I love plants, she gave me permission to play in her garden the whole week. This was the highlight of my stay. These 2 wholesome beings are such a lovely couple that goes above & beyond to make their guests feel welcome & taken care of! Their caretaker Mr Darlington was friendly, helpful & there whenever l needed his assistance! This home is very comfortable, safe, clean & had everything we needed. It looks even better than the pictures! The outdoor garden is so cosy. You can braai or just chill & enjoy a quiet evening! check out was ofcoz sad, l wish l could’ve stayed longer. Our whole stay was exactly what my little family needed. Would definitely recommend & we plan on staying here again!

A proper farm - protea flowers - but only 30 minute scenic drive to nearest large town (Stanford) and 15 minute drive to nearest small village. We (2 adults + 2 small dogs) enjoyed our walks, dips in the river ponds, and sunsets and sunrises, in short, a nice getaway. Lindsay was friendly, interesting and attentive, a great host.

Lovely and peaceful with interior space even better than in the photographs. The unit had everything we needed and communication was clear an quick. Good location close to town but away from the crowds. As is clear from the pictures these unites are side-by-side, but they are still very private. (I guess you could have bad luck and a noisy neighbour.) Would definitely recommend.

We spent 3 blissful days Ilah's place. An idyllic location with stunning views of the ocean and the mountain. The house was well maintained and very well equipped. Ilah was responsive and accommodating when we needed to change dates. We do not hesitate in recommending Ilah's place, if you are looking for peace, beauty, ease and a homey feeling.

Had the mos beautiful weather for the breathtaking views that surround you... waking up with the ocean. Blissful privacy and calmness bringing ones mind to peace. Lovely cozy house with all you need Will definitely book yearly.

11/10. Incredible stay! 10 minute drive from downtown Franschoek and easy access to all surrounding wineries. The property is gorgeous and the private salt pool is amazing, especially on hot days. Kitchen is brand new and well equipped, we enjoyed cooking there, especially grilled lamb chops with a bottle of the property’s merlot on our last night. Hope to come back for another visit soon!

I absolutely loved my stay. The farm is so scenic and peaceful. The cottage is much bigger than it looks on the photos. It had everything I needed and was very comfortable. There are loads to see and do. Especially if you love birds. Beautiful and easy walking trails. Perfect to break away. The hosts are kind, helpful and passionate about the farm.

The little owl cottage was beautifully placed in an affluent residential area which felt safe and perfect for families. We could explore all Cape-towns delights within 30mins and return back to the the pool and gardens afterwards for a relax. I’d definitely recommend this place 👍

Lovely little farm cottage with access to a beautiful swimming pool. Basic amenities but perfect for a couple on a budget and close to the town centre.

We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful stay at Jenny’s. The cottage is a little slice of heaven - beautifully furnished with meticulous attention to detail. We loved waking up to the sound of birds and the view of lush greenery as the morning sunlight streamed. Jenny was the perfect host and made us feel right at home. We already miss her highly addictive weekly cinnamon buns :-) Thank you so much Jenny for being so wonderful and the best holiday, we can’t wait to be back!

While we had a shorty stay, Michelle made us feel right at home. She had so many thoughtful touches that I haven't had in an Airbnb in a long time. She left a personal note and a welcome basket full of treats from her garden, and some much appreciated basics like bread/butter, honey, jam, tea, coffee, and milk. Michelle was lovely and warm, and provided such a great respite from our long travel days. The views are also incredible.

we had a lovely stay at Anne's cottage. Beautiful location. Our children loved the trampoline and the ducks. would definitely stay again.

The perfect place to stay in Fish Hoek! Linda was a fantastic host, quick to respond and very attentive. The cottage is very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Awesome views and the funicular makes going up and down from the street a breeze. We'll definitely be back!
