The stunning Hodnet Hall gardens and Hawkstone Park follies are a short drive away. If you don’t want to get in the car, walk along the canal into town (20 mins) for lunch or a glass of wine in the sun.

Perfect for dog walks. The annexe is in a very short walking distance to a local dog friendly pub which also serve Thai food and within another 10 minute walk is another dog friendly pub who serve English pub grub.Located only 30 minutes from Shrewsbury and 45 minutes from Alton towers. Dogs £5 extra per dog.

Our family of 5 people plus an Airedale Terrier will give you a warm welcome and will do everything we can to help you enjoy your stay. Simply furnished and comfortable, you can relax inside the cottage or explore the garden - the patio, the hammock, the fire-pit, or the BBQ, or just sitting in the damson orchard admiring the blossom!

Pubs, restaurants, bars and Joules brewery open for tours, a swimming pool with gym and countryside walks are within easy reach. Market Drayton hosts a weekly street market each Wednesday. The town is located within a 20-30 minute drive of larger towns; Telford, Shrewsbury, Newport, Newcastle and Nantwich making it a perfect base for a short break.

It is in close proximity to the picturesque town square, wide range of bars, restaurants and shops. The location and modern interior makes it ideal for couples, friends and professional people working away from home and is within just a few minute from all the shops.

The Marsh - Self Contained annex

This is a modern, self-contained annex in a quiet rural location, with your own front door. Downstairs is spacious with a private bathroom and over bath shower, generous kitchen with basic food provisions and utensils and living space with TV. The light and airy double bedroom upstairs provides stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Orchard Cottage Rural Retreats is home to two luxury Glamping Pods, The Laurels and The Beeches (Our Dog Friendly Pod) – situated in Pell Wall just a short drive or walk from the Market town of Market Drayton. Next-door to our site we have a Secure Dog Exercise Area ‘The Dogs Paddocks’ available for private hire we also have many lovely walks on the doorstep and a traditional pub The Four Alls inn at the end of the drive.
