Monthly Rentals in Bernisdale

The most beautiful view from a holiday home we have ever seen, we really didn’t want to leave! The owners have thought of everything, from every cooking utensil, to loads of storage space, even deep drawers in the bathroom to store toiletries, beautiful cosy decor, very clean, very peaceful, just the sound of birds, most relaxing place we have ever stayed. We would have booked 2 weeks but we did a last minute holiday and had to move location after 1 week. Loads of info about local excursions and amenities in the area and also a house manual. Thankyou to the owners for quick response when messaged and thinking of everything one may need for a relaxing holiday.

The room is large and clean. The lambs and sheep nearby are a big plus, we are immediately taken away. Large bed, coffee machine, small touches… great Rather central location on the island, but next to nothing… so a lot of cars to get around…

Great place...waking up right next to the large lake in Skye is an experince in itself. A fully equipped pod - plug and play place. A very cooperative host as well.

My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip and it was the perfect spot! It is spacious and filled with all of the things you may need! Loved the welcome gift and thoughtful additions. The space is filled with local decor from the island which made it even more special. Doug is an extremely kind host and he welcomed us and shared his recommendations. The spot is a bit up from Portree but it was nice to be outside of the city center and was accessible for some of the main island must-do’s hikes. Also close to the co-op grocery store if you need items. I would highly recommend this spot! Thanks Doug for a great stay!
