We had a pleasant stay. Host is very welcoming and helpful. The scenery is stunning! It is a peaceful place in a nicely renovated cottage. To get there in winter, you have to have good shoes. The last end to reach the chalet is very steep and can become slippery. The furniture and accessories in the room are not the last juveniles but that doesn't bother, it gives charm to the accommodation. I can only recommend this host and this beautiful cottage!

The best stay. The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant is so good. Therese, Willy, and all the people in the hotel, including Melissa who is always with a great spirit and helping all the time, are such wonderful people. We came back happy from the Bären !

This was a lovely hotel. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, great location. But the highlight for us was the amazing complimentary breakfast (alos, be sure to make a reservation for dinner while there). The staff all gave personal recommendation on the best hikes and where to find cows (one of the things I really wanted to see). Also, although it was just me and my husband, we noticed that this was a very family friendly hotel and town if you are coming with kids. Just come! You will love it here :-)

Our family had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The property is beyond beautiful and Silvia goes above and beyond to accommodate her guests. She gave us great recommendations and even called to make dinner reservations so I didn’t have to. My boys loved her fresh orange juice every morning. This place was a dream! We had such a wonderful stay here and Céline was a terrific host. The views surrounding the property are STUNNING, and the lodge was beautiful. The location was great for surrounding hikes, too — just a 25 minute drive to Kandersteg (the base of Lake Oeschinensee), and about the same to Lauterbrunnen, the base for our hike in Mürren. We had a beautiful local breakfast that filled us up in the morning, in a dining hall with great views. And everything was very clean. The only note I’ll make is the room we stayed in was quite small, especially the bathroom. It was perfect for us, but could be challenging for a larger person. All in all, I couldn’t recommend this stay enough and we’ll be back if we’re ever in Switzerland! I’ve already shared this spot with friends :) Thanks Céline!

Emmanuel and Sandrine are very friendly hosts. We ate at their guest table. It was a very nice meal as well as breakfast. We will gladly stop if we return to the area. I recommend this place where you'll find people who are kind and welcoming.

I had a great stay at Nick’s place! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect for hiking, galcier 3000 etc.. Nick was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and helpful with local recommendations. I especially appreciated of clear instructions and check in timings. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The place is really perfect! Very well arranged, well-equipped, spacious (we were 12 adults), and tastefully decorated. Welcoming and friendly hosts. The hostel is located in a peaceful and quiet location. Everything is new and clean. If we have a chance, we will come back without hesitation!
