Perfect for families and small groups of up to 12 people, with an unusually large amount of space of over 180 m², plus a garden on the old city wall. A clear stream, the "Kleine Elz," flows directly by the house. The sandstone staircase leading to the stream can be locked to keep small children safe.

The Donathütte at Schluchsee

Relax in this charming rustic mountain hut and enjoy the simple life. You will heat the place with a wood-fired oven (you will need to chop the wood yourself). 500m from the lake at the end of a private road and 1km from the trainstation. Bring everything you need for your stay and leave no traces. Important: Be aware that it is your responsibility to clean the hut before checking out and prepare everything for the next guests. Our apartment (approx. 70 square meters) is located at the edge of the small village of Geschwend, in the Todtnau holiday region. Geschwend has about 410 inhabitants. The place is good for 2-4 people. Couples, solo travelers, business travelers, and families with older children. It includes a double bed on the gallery, as well as a sofa bed in the living area. The area is open plan, so there is no enclosed bedroom. Outside there is a private garden with seating, barbecue and fencing.
