Apartment vacation rentals in Bernau im Schwarzwald

We (2 families with 2 toddlers) had a wonderful weekend in the Black Forest. The apartment is very spacious and has been renovated with a lot of love (the pictures correspond fully, but live it looks even more beautiful). Shopping directly on foot across the street. Great surroundings with a lot of leisure activities (+ Hochschwarzwald Card). We will be happy to come back, thank you!

We were also warmly welcomed by Christopher personally with sweet treats and drinks at a late hour. He even helped with unloading. The apartment is very appealing and well equipped as shown in the photos. The bathroom is not the most modern, but it is well maintained and clean (small tip: while someone is showering, it is best not to use water elsewhere, because otherwise the shower water can get very hot). The sleeping arrangements are very comfortable and the living area is very cozy. Even games like UNO, Yahtzee, Scotland Yard, etc. were available. The kitchen was very spacious and everything was available (spices, salt & pepper, sugar, coffee pads, kitchen paper, detergent, sponge, cookware and of course pots, plates, pans, glasses). Christopher responded immediately to inquiries and was helpful at all times. We felt very welcome and can recommend this apartment without reservation.

We (1 adult & 2 children) stayed in Heike's super nice apartment for three nights. Heike is a great and dear hostess and always available. We felt right at home We lacked nothing and the second toilet was definitely great to avoid the morning traffic jam in the bathroom. We'll certainly come back. Thanks for everything.

To begin with it was very easy to find the house. If you are using public transportation it can be reached within 5-7 mins. Ulrike is very polite and welcoming. She explained everything clearly. It was a pleasant stay!! Thank you for hosting us.

The apartment is located in a complex with several apartments with good parking. The apartment has everything you need and I felt very comfortable! You can reach everything in the village on foot. The WiFi is not very good (there are occasional interruptions), but sufficient. I can definitely recommend the apartment. The landlord is not very quick to respond to questions. It is best to clarify everything important about the check-in (apartment number and key code) with him 1-2 days in advance.

I had a wonderful stay at this place! The apartment was extremely clean and perfect for one person. The location was especially practical – ideal if, like me, you want to hike the Schluchtensteig. The path leads directly past the apartment, which is simply awesome for hiking enthusiasts. Also good bus connections from Lenzkirch. The host was always easy to reach, and check-in and check-out went completely smoothly. A big plus was the parking space right outside the door – very convenient. The apartment is cozy and tastefully furnished, without unnecessary frills. Everything you need was there, including a smart TV for relaxing evenings. A small downside: The dishwasher was unfortunately not usable, and only two hotplates worked. However, that was not a big problem for me, as I usually ate on the go anyway. Overall a clear recommendation – I'd come back anytime!

Beautifully furnished, bright apartment with a lot of attention to detail: a multi-colored door knob on the wardrobe, the picture frames with objets trouvés or the refrigerator poetry, which invites you to write poetry. The view of the green pasture and especially the cows grazing there automatically leads to a soothing slowdown for the viewer. Tall people need some time to get used to the sloping roof beams in the kitchen and bedroom. The landlords add additional accents with colored (self-painted?) pictures. The yellow lemon pictures in the kitchen make it look active and fresh. The spacious bedroom is a little calmer in color. The nice landlords Anja and Christian have managed to create a special place. You can tell the love and dedication with which they want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We can recommend the apartment.

We (2 adults, 1 child) had a lovely stay at Monika's. Thanks to your directions, you can get to the accommodation without any problems. The location is very nice and ideal to start long hikes right outside the front door. The apartment is very clean, the kitchen contains everything you need for self-catering and grocery stores can be reached in a few minutes by car. We met Monika shortly before our departure. She is very nice and helpful and can also be reached quickly by email during her absence. Ultimately, we highly recommend the accommodation and a vacation with Monika.

A beautiful apartment with picturesque views! Really unique. The fresh mountain air was good for us and the magnificent views, the apartment is very quietly located and you can switch off very well. The apartment was very clean & had everything you need, even with a 9-month-old baby. For larger purchases, unfortunately, you have to drive down into the valley, but otherwise for smaller purchases, there is a small store nearby. Unfortunately, we then had a broken dishwasher but Anita and Kathi were very helpful & responded quickly. I can only highly recommend the apartment of the two ladies, it was a totally pleasant communication. We will be happy to come back 🙏🏽

The apartment is spacious and bigger than it looks in the pictures. Everything is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Despite it being large, it has a cosy feeling like you would be at home. It is also dog friendly. The surrounding area is very beautiful and peaceful. Like out of a movie. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Really recommend this place to anyone who is considering it! 10/10

A beautiful apartment right in the heart of the Black Forest! ❤️-you will be welcomed with two delicious fir fishes and a bottle of water. The kitchen also leaves nothing to be desired,everything you need. Even the Starbucks capsules for the Nespresso machine;) The sauna is the absolute hammer and lets you relax after a long hike. Also mega pleasant,the rain shower and all the small "gifts" in the form of cream and soaps that are in the completely new and modern bathroom. Radiator with boost function,so that the towel is also plumply warm after showering. There you can only fall into the king-size bed super relaxed and fall asleep in front of the huge TV. The Walgdgeflüster is a beautiful apartment, we felt really comfortable from the first moment. The apartment is furnished with a lot of love and regional decor – super cozy and it really has everything you need. The small attentions to the welcome, the comfortable box spring bed and the wonderful seating area overlooking the forest were real highlights. Perfect for switching off and enjoying! The check-in was totally uncomplicated and the hostess very warm. We can highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

We had a great time. The apartment was great. The excellent review from previous vacationers was well justified. We spent six nights at Carlo and Daniela's and are thinking of coming back.

The apartment is a great starting point for people who are active. In addition, the Demeterhof, located in the immediate vicinity, supplies delicious food such as cheese and sausage. The communication with Claudia was very straightforward and everything worked fine.

Maxime is a great host who has prepared this apartment very well for guests. We had everything we needed. If you have any questions, Maxime was quickly available with the right answers. We'll be happy to come back sometime.

We spent wonderful days at the property. The location was great. Restaurants were quick to reach and there was plenty of choice. The hot tub and the view were just beautiful. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime!

nice accommodation, small shower, beautiful location, unfortunately there were many wasps by the pool, so swimming could not be completely relaxing, but glad that the pool was present. Because Frédéric was not present all the time, I had to communicate with his dear wife but she spoke little English and I no French so that was a bit difficult and unfortunate since she is a very nice Host. In short, a good stay in a beautiful area!

We felt comfortable from the first minute with a welcoming host and an apartment with a really well thought out level of equipment - everything you need without clutter. Its in a very quiet and green area while still being very well linked with public transport to Lenzburg and Aarau. The bus stop and train station are both walkable and there are two small supermarket in walking distance that have all the necessities and more.

This is by far the cleanest B&B I’ve ever stayed in – absolutely spotless. The kitchen was well-equipped and thoughtfully stocked with seasonings and a variety of beverages. Both the living room and bedroom were tastefully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom and toilet were supplied with high-quality cleaning products, including disinfectant wipes, which was a lovely touch. Although the parking space is a short walk away, it was still acceptable. One pleasant surprise was the presence of a lift in the building, which made access much easier. It would be even better if there were a clothes rack in one of the rooms, but overall, everything was very well arranged. The host was extremely helpful, and all instructions were clearly communicated. The location is excellent – right in the city centre, making everything very convenient. The only thing to get used to was the spiral staircase, but it added character to the place.

Absolutely charming! Can't wait to come back.
