Breathtaking views of the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. A holiday paradise with unique nature where you get to experience both sea, sea, outdoor areas, war history and wildlife. If you're lucky, you'll also spot sea eagles, or northern lights in the sky during the winter months. Opportunities to get fresh eggs for breakfast straight from the chicken coop. Writers hut. Little sweet cottage with one bedroom. Small double bed. One extra mattress. Old typewriter is available. Located in a very green environment, close to a saved native forest, the big lake and wilderness. Perfect for hiking and fishing. Boat or canoe and life vest are available, also fishing gear. The farm is located at the end of the road, and then you continue on the farm road.You can park outside the cottage. Gripen is a silent place, only a few farming noises, like baa and moo!

You will have full access to the whole downstairs apartment of 125m2 in total. 3 bedrooms and a large living room stands at your disposal. Outside you have your own private backyard with lots of outdoor games. From the pier you can fish, rent boat or swim. There is a 98l freezer box where you can store the fish you catch or any other food. Through our boat rental company, we are a lisenced fish camp. This means you can export up to 18kg of fish per fisherman with you out of Norway.

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken- tunet- Os. In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road.
