You could not find a better location at Muir Beach, which in itself is the perfect get away for those of us living in San Francisco. We loved it so much, we've rebooked for a weekend in September. It's the perfect size and layout for a couple and every room except the bathroom has a stunningly beautiful view of beach and waves and when clear, Sutro tower and the western part of San Francisco. A true romantic get away. Even 2 fireplaces and hot tub! We spent most of weekend not going anywhere except for a walk on the beach.

Annie's cottage far exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a quiet place to spend the weekend, and I got exactly that. The hot tub was a great way to unwind after hiking the Matt Davis trail, which the trail was conveniently located about a minute's walk from the property. The cottage was cozy, clean, and the heated mattress and fireplace heater were such a nice touch! This place felt so special, and I hope that I'll have the privilege to come stay here again. Annie was a gracious and kind host. Super friendly and responsive. I could not have asked for a better getaway! Thank you, Annie, for making my birthday celebration so memorable!

This is such a lovely studio. Super comfy and spotless. The bed is very comfy, the kitchenette was just right for making a quick breakfast, and I loved the deck - could have lounged on the deck chairs for days enjoying the sun and the view. The neighborhood is gorgeous. Quiet but inviting, with some very impressive architecture, and several fantastic little local parks. Everything is pretty steep in the area, and it makes you feel like you're in a different world from the rest of the city. Jan was very responsive and helpful, and we had exactly the relaxing weekend we needed.

Where to begin... This little jewel was a breathtaking retreat that I hold dear to my heart! It’s definitely in my top 5 best short stay rentals. The host has tremendous respect for her guests' privacy. Getting there can be tricky, as there’s very little space for two vehicles on the steep hill, but the adrenaline rush is absolutely worth it! Beautiful deer greet you at the entrance, which was such a special sight. This is a place I will definitely return to in the coming years. We booked one night at this location VERY last minute, as we made some impromptu changes to our road trip. We only stayed one night but we didn't want to leave! The house is a work of art but feels so comfortable at the same time. The check in/out is easy and they don't overwhelm you with chores at checkout. The host is responsive but we didn't need a thing. The house was comfortable and felt very private and safe. We weren't here long but this stay was definitely one of the highlights of the trip! 5+ stars!

wished we were able to stay longer. area was incredibly beautiful. friendly reminder to people that book this place. toilet paper is not allowed in the toilet, so if that makes you uncomfortable then this is not the place for you. if you are okay with that, then this is a clean, and gorgeous family friendly unit, with amazing hosts that respond quickly.

Cory's quiet cottage was in a perfect location - steps from Castro street shops, restaurants and transit. Getting into the unit was a breeze - It was restful and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The thoughtfully decorated unit had lots of extra touches, including big-screen TV, full sized washer-dryer, double shower, and the luxury of a hot tub at the end of the day! We look forward to staying at Cory's place on our next trip to SF.
