Waterfront vacation rentals in Bergen County

Happy with our stay! The apartment was small but sufficed for 2 people. Shower pressure was abysmal but otherwise everything functioned as intended and the host's communication was great.

Wonderful location, very amenable host, and easy parking. So happy to have a few nights in quaint Nyack. Walkable, found a nice Irish pub nearby. Quiet location. Very clean. The hosts are genuinely the best I have had. Well done.

Wir haben den schönen Blick vom Appartement auf NY jeden Tag genossen. Das Appartement mit 2 Zimmer und Küche perfekt für Familien. Die Kommunikation war einfach und unkompliziert (trotz meinen fehlenden englisch). Die Verbindung mit Bus oder Fähre macht alles einfach. Zum Einkaufen (Lebensmittel) gibt es viele Möglichkeiten. Vielen Dank noch mal 🤗

West New York is a hidden gem, the view of the Manhattan Skyline is priceless. We enjoyed incorporating the 25 minute walk along the waterfront to the ferry (across to Manhattan) in our daily routine. Great experience of suburban New York and an escape from the NYC noise. Really felt this was the best of both worlds for our 10 days in NYC.

Vi boede fem nætter i denne rummelige lejlighed med fire soveværelser, ét badeværelse, stue og køkken. Fra det største soveværelse havde vi en betagende udsigt over Manhattans skyline. Lejligheden passede perfekt til vores gruppe på fire, da vi hver især havde forskellige behov og ønsker. Beliggenheden kunne ikke være bedre: færgen, som sejler direkte til Manhattan, ligger kun få minutters gang væk, og der er desuden nem adgang til både bus og tog. Den store terrasse var et kæmpe plus – her nød vi både morgen- og aftensmad under åben himmel. Kiosker, supermarkeder og restauranter findes i rigt mål lige om hjørnet, så det var let at handle og spise ude. Udlejeren svarede lynhurtigt på alle vores spørgsmål og var altid hjælpsom og fleksibel. Prisen var betydeligt lavere end en tilsvarende lejlighed på Manhattan, og vi føler virkelig, at vi fik meget for pengene. Vi havde en fantastisk ferie, og når vi vender tilbage til New York, vælger vi uden tvivl denne lejlighed og udlejer igen.

We had a wonderful visit over NYE! It was so easy to get the ferry or an Uber to get into NYC. The view from the apartment is fantastic and the apt itself is comfortable. We would definitely stay again ☺️.

Emma has a beautiful home and I was very comfortable. It had everything for my 5 week stay. Some highlights; proximity to NYC with NJ Transit at the corner, garden, proper kitchen and super comfortable bed. En suite, bed linen and overall cleanliness round out a favorite AirBnB experience. Thanks Emma & fam!

Jay was very communicative and even allowed us to check in early when our plans changed. The home was comfortable and quiet. We really enjoyed the homey feeling after going to the city every day.

Anna was wonderful! She was always available whenever we needed to reach out and answered all our questions promptly. She also accommodated my special request to avoid using anything with fragrances before our arrival, which I truly appreciated. The house was impeccably clean and dust-free a huge plus for us due to our allergies. It felt incredibly cozy, and my husband and I especially loved sipping our morning coffee while enjoying the beautiful view, even while being snowed in. We also appreciated the extra pillows, blankets, bedding, towels, and paper towels everything was well stocked for a party of four. We would love to come back in the summertime!

My husband and really enjoyed our impromptu weekend getaway at the last minute. Heidi was able to accommodate us the same day and was very quick to respond and help us get setup. The location is beautiful and really special. We’ll definitely be back!

Lage und Aussicht war genial, wenn man die Skyline von NYC mag. Mit Bus in 30-40 Min. zur 42. Street. Also für NYC schnell. Es gibt ein paar Restaurants und Läden in der Nähe. Küche war sehr schön, uns fehlten Messer zum Schneiden und ein Brett. Sonst alles super.

Had to come to town with a broken heart, and this was a lovely stay for My Sons and his brothers during funeral planning. Even though all of our events were in the city, this was very close. It has a lovely view, and it was very comfortable. Do not hesitate to stay here.

Excellent séjour de 10 nuits chez Maria. Emplacement Idéal, passages de cars réguliers à 2min du airbnb qui nous emmènent directement au cœur de midtown. La vue en bas de bloc est imbattable, de jour comme de nuit. Ayant voyagé seule, je me suis sentie en sécurité. Il est agréable de rejoindre un quartier calme après une longue journée à NYC. Enfin, le séjour a été rendu d’autant plus agréable grâce à la sympathie et aux conseils des hôtes. Je recommande à 100%. Merci à Maria et son mari pour leur accueil chaleureux.

I had such a relaxing and joyful night at Estefany's place! The location is incredibly convenient—just steps from the bus stop, and as soon as you get off, you’re greeted by the most breathtaking view. It immediately lifts your spirits, and the best part is, you can enjoy that same view right from inside the room! This is truly a top-notch stay. Estefany and Athiaperez are both so kind and welcoming, and I already miss Rio! 🐶 I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting New York. Also, if you’re into morning runs, this is a perfect spot. Waking up and running with such a stunning view is an experience you shouldn’t miss. I’d absolutely love to stay here again the next time I’m in New York. The place is clean, comfortable, and very safe. Highly, highly recommended! ✨✨

If you are looking to explore New York for a few days or longer then Jay's place is great. Just a few minutes from the Long Beach station, Penn or Grand Central are about an hour away on a direct LIRR train. You will save $$$ by staying here compared with Manhattan. Long Beach is a safe, full of interesting shops. The 10km boardwalk is just a few minutes away. The apartment of character in a listed building full of charm. Loved the well stocked kitchen and would not hesitate to come back again.

This place was perfect for a wedding weekend getaway! The room is centrally located and we could see both the cocktail hour and reception from the balcony. Such a great spot if you want something budget-friendly without sacrificing comfort or luxury. Joe was super responsive and helpful the whole time too. Would definitely stay again!

Gerry & Arlene were great hosts! They helped us find a location that fit our needs (walkable to the ski slopes). (We thought we originally booked a place right at Mountain Creek, but it ended up being across the street - so definitely a bit of a walk, but still not too bad.) We were celebrating our son's 13th birthday and the condo was perfect. The location allowed us to snowboard all day, come back to have pizza and birthday cake, then go right back on the slopes until closing. (We also left two pairs of our snowboard boots there...and they were extremely helpful in getting these back to us!)

This was the perfect staycation spot for my family and I. We just wanted a quick escape from the busyness of the city, and that is exactly what we got. Diana was super helpful every step of the way. Her instructions were very clear and thorough - which made for a seamless navigation, gate entry, and entry into the condo. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated, and the additional household essentials like, a coffee maker (with coffee pods!!), rice cooker, toaster over, pots, pans, seasonings and a host of other essential items made our stay feel like a home away from home. AND, she even provided free Netflix - that was different and a nice added touch!! 👌Access the pool and hot tubs was the icing on top the cake. Highly recommend and hope to be back soon! 🙂

Loved the stay in the apartment! It was beautiful, peaceful and exactly what we needed to have a little time when life takes over. Will for sure be booking the spot again!! The view of NYC was beautiful. Well worth every penny-one of the nicest, cleanest places we’ve stayed so far! The owners are very attentive to your needs- and if you have questions they are answered promptly- couldn’t have asked for better hosts!!🤗 Thanks again for everything.

Aj's Airbnb is extremely quiet and in a fabulous location near Stevens and all of the restaurants on Washington Street. The apartment is spacious with a super comfy sofa and great view of a church steeple out of the windows. The bed is also comfortable and the bedroom has a lot of storage with two closets and a dresser--I appreciated the full length mirror as well. The elevator is such a bonus when traveling with luggage and the wide, open staircase is also very nice for coming and going. AJ was very receptive and responsive when I contacted him with a question.

The space was as described and very clean. I didnt have a car but it was just a few blocks away from the light rail. There are plenty of awesome restaurants and more with waking distance. Everything you need is in the house. The A/c is a bit loud in the bedroom but works great.
