Monthly Rentals in Belvès

Gorgeous house over three floors, very spacious and everything was very new and convenient for cooking, large fridge and space. I was worried about the heat with no air con but the house was very cool as stone and we slept comfortably. Upper floor was hotter but good fans provided. Great for family and the dog had a perfect cold space next to the kitchen. Also great location, easy to find and park. We walked into town to shops and restaurants, we went to the Wednesday night food festival and we also went to the pool with the kids which is a five minute walk and inexpensive. Belves is very close to some great beautiful places to visit in the Dordogne, a great few days stay en route south from the UK.

We stayed the month of September with Jessica's home the perfect base for visiting the Dordogne. It was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable, the water was delightfully hot, and the internet was fast. In short, cozy and peaceful. We cooked several meals in the kitchen (lovely herb garden on the back terrace). The town parking was an easy few minutes walk away. Belves itself is a jewel. Much to see and the people were friendly and forgiving of our French. Its central location in the region eased our trips heading north to towns and prehistoric sites along the Vezere River, east towards the castles and towns along the Dordogne River (Beynac, Castelnaud, Domme, Sarlat and the Gardens at Eyrignac (all must dos), west to Bergerac and its wineries, and south to Monpazier, Monflanquin, and the chateaux at Biron and Bonaguil). Some days we just stayed in Belves. I recommend breakfast and also a late afternoon glass of Monbazillac wine on the back terrace. Enjoy!

A great stay in Coralie's cottage, it feels like home. The house is very nice and well maintained, with everything you need to feel good. Coralie is adorable and very responsive. And the area is very nice:) Go with your eyes closed!

This charming home is exactly as it appears in photos and descriptions. Very thoughtfully appointed and comfortable. Great location within a quick walk of all Belves - in the heart of the Dordogne. Strongly recommend, and would stay here again!
