Casa located in a quiet place ideal for a group or family vacation. All rooms are suites, which is a bright spot for bathroom privacy. The beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need at the level of appliances (toaster, coffee machine (delta), microwave, dishwasher) as well as dishwasher for a group of 10 people. The whole decoration is very beautiful and thought out. Outside spaces are large and well arranged, the space for the barbecue is impeccable. It is undoubtedly a place to visit again!

Casa dos Valentes was definitely the best place we could have spent Christmas time with family, everything was absolutely amazing. The check in process where Hugo’s father introduced every place of the house was lovely, also the communication from Hugo throughout the days before we check in was really good. The house speaks for itself, you feel right as home, clean and everything organized. I have no words to describe how comfortable we felt in every room, specially with winter days we spent it there. 3 days was not enough to enjoy everything, looks like time was flying I really appreciate every detail there and I recommend for anyone that is planning to stay few days. The house is super well equipped and cared for. All rooms (the 8) have a toilet. Luisa is super nice and let us check out a little later. The only negative point was the pool being shared with the other house, otherwise everything was perfect :)

I wanted to thank Joaquim and his wife, they were two amazing hosts, they made a point of introducing us to the house and its history. They were also very nice in accompanying us by messages asking if everything was in order or if we needed anything, finally they even delivered us a cake for an afternoon a few days before check-out.

It was a wonderful weekend. Even the neighborhood was very welcoming. Thanks to Mr. Manuel for the wine and sausage tasting. Firewood ready for heating the house, large spaces such as the living room that was great for meals as well as for playing with the children or conversations with adults. Super creative decor that makes us feel at home. Flexibility in check-in and check-out added more unforgettable moments in the house. We want to go back.

It is a family house, very well maintained and recovered. The house has all the conveniences and a few more. The Host ensured an excellent communication and the lady who received us (Mrs. Silvina) overflows sympathy. We were still entitled to some miminhos, which were cherry on cake. Great stay! The location of this accommodation is ideal, close to everything: restaurants, shops, public transport and main attractions. It was a real pleasure to be able to do anything on foot! This is a great space in a real out-of-the-way part of Portugal. Tired of big city tourism? Try this property. Tiny villages dot the hills and you get an old world sense of Portugal here. The pool is the real star of the property here (as are Eric's three dogs, one of which lounged with us each morning) as it overlooks he view of the river. We did use the kayaks as well. It is hard to get to them down a very steep hill with ladders and a bit of minor repelling. Not for those with a bad knee or hip. Which gets me to, accessing the apartments, particularly the lower unit, is tricky. Steep, slanting and uneven steps that can be a little slippery. Perhaps not for the elderly. Hint for improvement would be to upgrade the furnishings and kitchenware. The knives couldn't cut an orange.

The stay at the Quinta was great. It is worth noting the tranquility of the place, which was very extensive. The kids had a great time, they were able to collect eggs and see a flock of sheep up close. The caretaker's attention was exceptional.

Mr. Abrão was always super helpful, introduced us to the house and made it easy for us at check-in. The space was perfect, even better than the photos. The areas of the house are large and spacious, have all the necessary things (well-equipped kitchen, hair dryer, dishwasher and washing machine…) and they even left us a box of coffee as a courtesy There is a barbecue (indoor), billiards, ping pong table, foosball and the heated pool is the icing on the cake. I also want to highlight the cleanliness of the space, which was impeccable. Comfortable beds and pillows. Safe for children and animals. The only negative point was just the network signal, which was weak and did not allow much use of social networks, but this did not affect our experience at Andreia and Mr. Abrão's property. We will recommend it to friends and family and hope to return soon!

Steven was a perfect host and very attentive to our comfort in his beautiful family property. We immediately felt at home. The outdoor space is large, well arranged and pleasant. The multiple friendly interactions with Steven have enriched our vacation with an amazing human experience. Bravo and thank you again. We recommend 100%.

The place was very good and it had everything it needed. Since we were there in February, we had a little cool the first 2 days until the air conditioning and the wood stove on the lower floor brought warmth into the rooms. But lighting the wood-burning stove was also fun. A tip for the future would be to install modern dehumidifiers on each floor. The outdoor area was very nice with the orange trees and also well maintained, but was not used by us.

Corrou all very well, Hugo has put us at ease... the house is very clean and decorated in detail!! We will return in warm weather to enjoy the wonderful outdoor space!!

We had traveled by car from Lisbon to Porto and wanted to stay closer to the airport on our last night before our flight in the morning. Carlos’s place is a gem, with incredible history. Charming setting among the treeline and a nearby church with occasional bell ring to add to is serene feel. The place looks like a castle but with all the modern fixtures and remodel on the inside. Truly best remodel I’ve seen. It has plenty of space for 8 of us and it seems that we only explored half the place. Spacious rooms with all the an accommodations you can think of. The animals were an extra bonus for the kids, (ducks, goats, chickens, peacocks, turkey, and Boris the dog our fav) Recommended shopping center nearby, (biggest one we’ve been to in Portugal. Like Walmart) has everything one may need. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. Already making plans to return again.
