Cottage at The Cabin Patch on the McKenzie River

CaitlinRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Alana’s cottage was updated, clean, comfortable, and stylish. The location was amazing just right down the road from the Willamette National Forest. The interior of the cottage was cozy and felt like home. She put a lot of attention to the details of her rental, from the towels and bedding to the light fixtures and kitchen utensils. The outdoor area was wild and perfect. It was so peaceful listening to the river on the porch and as we slept. I would love to come visit again.

The historic McKenzie River cabin

ChelseyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a great adventure at this charming historic cabin in the rainforest! The setting was so beautiful by the river and being able to go for a hike just down the road was a big plus! Our only complaint would be it was quite cold at night during our trip, especially with a 3 year old. We rely on woodstove at home, so we weren't too worried about it and the owner did send extra info on it, but the wood stove was slow to warm so we just slept on the couches around the stove. Until, I added wood at midnight and smoked us out, as the pipe had gotten too cold and the wood was a bit damp. So we had to leave the flue open from then on (after opening all the doors, fan etc) which is just what happens with wood stoves sometimes. We were quite tired from our long drive though, and it made for a long, cold night. It was a memorable experience that we will chuckle about though. A big plus was the couches were really comfy! If it we could have used the heaters, it would have been a 10/10 stay!

Beautiful cabin right on the water. Everything was clean and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with anything you might need. I thought it was better than the pictures online. Friendly and flexible host. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect for a nice relaxing weekend with beautiful scenery.

Absolutely loved our time at Courtney’s place. It is exactly as peaceful and serene as pictured. The house is well appointed with high speed WiFi and a nice setup for work. Very conveniently located across the street from our new favorite market, the general store. Would love to return some day and even stay longer!

Right on the McKenzie - Pickleball court

RoxanaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had a wonderful time staying a Janell's place. Despite the rain, the house is still set up to enjoy the beautiful surroundings even if you have to stay inside. Close to many hikes, hot springs, pickleball court for when the rain did stop, hot tub... Janell was very communicative and friendly. We will definitely be back!
