A beautiful rustic cabin in an amazing spot. Lori is a great host and is always near in her farmhouse to communicate and get you what you need. Appleton is not far from Camden / Rockland but has that rustic getaway feel. The option of adding a wonderful soak in the hot tub, wood fired sauna, massage and breakfast are available as well. I’ll be back next year! Thank you for everything, Lori!

Sometimes photos just don't do the real thing justice, and this is the case with this property. The property and the views are truly spectacular! The home is huge and has everything you could ever need to live for a week or more. The porch, especially the screened in portion are magnificent and the hot tub was a perfect way to finish up a great day. We had so many plans to adventure out, but found ourselves wanting to stay and enjoy the pristine yard or just sit on the porch and enjoy each others company, we didn't want or need to leave. Having coffee and watching eagles fly by over the river was truly spectacular. Judy is one of the nicest, easiest hosts we have had the pleasure to work with and truly appreciates your patronage. And Hugh's journal on all things Graywood is a lifesaver. Not only would we return again, but we look forward to it.

We had the most wonderful staying here! A peaceful and relaxing getaway is exactly what we needed, and exactly what we received. The hot tub was the perfect touch. We couldn’t recommend this place more! Can’t wait to go back!

This stay was everything we wanted- relaxing, calm and a beautiful property. We did hikes near by and activities in the town. We really enjoyed exploring! I would love to come back!

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

Wendy’s place was really nice and the hot tub is very private.. we definitely got our usage out of it… Wendy herself was extremely kind and open minded. She didn’t rush us out come check out, instead, she encouraged us to stay a little longer and enjoy the hot tub before our long journey back home.. she gave us good tips about golden gems only locals know about 🥰 She did have a cool book to share reviews but I didn’t have a pen.. also we left grape soda in the fridge from Canada for the next person to try!! What an awesome place to stay! Lori was incredibly gracious and accommodating with out late arrival. The cabin towards the back of the property was so cozy. Fantastic stay and would definitely recommend!

Just the right size, a home away from home. Clean, neat, cozy, and quaint. Alyssa has been a great host from beginning to the end. Very quick response time. The home is in a perfect location. Would definitely stay again.

Charming little cottage on the lake! Had a lot of fun, easy to get to town and the lake was serene and peaceful. Great place to stay!

A beautiful and cozy space with lovely natural light and generous room to spread out. The full kitchen is equipped like a real home, with everything from basic pots and pans to whisks and even nut crackers! A great place for cooking full meals. A nice quiet location, even with its relative proximity to a regularly-traveled road. I'm sensitive to noise and was never bothered by sounds of traffic. Pettengill Farm is only a few minutes up the road, a beautiful place to walk for both dogs and humans and really easy to access multiple times a day. Mandana was always very responsive to communication, and when there was a glitch with Airbnb's fee calculation she was extremely helpful and approachable and took care of it immediately.

Words literally cannot explain the feeling you get when you step onto this property. Picture perfect piece of heaven. I've never cried leaving a place before, that's the impact it had on me. I left a piece of my heart in that cabin. Already planning to go back. 🤙✌️💚

Lovely stay at Chris’s. Beautiful location. Close to everything but quiet. Can see the water from every room! Chris is a great host, left us a delicious bag of granola. House was very clean!

Wonderful stay, the place was in a beautiful location, walkable to Wolfe’s Neck Farm where we love to walk. My husband and I were there the first few days, then our adult daughter joined us for two nights. The place is small (described accurately) but the three of us found it very workable. The king bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of outside patio space to lounge and soak up the sun when it was out. This was a work trip for us as we were getting a property in a nearby town ready for sale. We didn’t have time to use the provided kayaks but hope to in a future stay. The hosts very friendly and accommodating, highly recommended this property.

Great place and a great location! Really easy to walk to downtown and some local restaurants and pubs. Would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to stay in the area. So many good books to read if you have an extended stay.

Colby’s cabin was everything I expected and more. The location was fantastic so private and quiet, even during Memorial Day weekend I didn’t see or hear anyone. The cabin is two miles up a dirt road, nestled into the woods on the side of a hill it’s the perfect weekend hideaway. My camping car (2012 crv, 250k miles) made it up no problem in May even with heavy rain the day before. The cabin has everything you could need just pack food and clothes. This could easily be more rustic but a lot of work was put into the little touches that take this place to the next level like wood stove, well pump, refrigerator and stove, and clean comfortable furniture. Lots to do in the area check out mt blue, tumbledown and Webb lake. Can’t wait to come back soon!

I don’t even know where to begin! Karl and Margaret welcomed us with the utmost hospitality. They were friendly, inviting, and lent us a beautiful and scenic oasis to stay at for the weekend that we spend in Maine. Their farm was through the woods, and it was amazing how much love and care goes into those animals. We were very fortunate enough to be able to milk the goats and hold the baby goats that were just born hours prior to our visitation. They also provided the freshest, best tasting goat cheese and goat milk made on their farm. My family and I had an incredible experience here, and would come back again!

Highly recommend!!!!! Beautiful Inn, great amenities, peaceful, quiet location but close to the shops. Pool was great for kids. Breakfast was amazing!!

Our stay at the beach house was great! You couldn't be closer to the water! So much fun kayaking, floating and swimming in the lake! House is much better than the pictures do it justice. For a 2 bedroom house its very big and spacious, beds were extremely comfortable. The no wifi was a little bit of a downer but there were plenty of board games to play. There is some street noise but not bad at all. Would most definitely recommend if you are looking for waterfront property. The access to the resort pool was a plus too for the kiddos!

A few times while wandering around midcoast Maine in late March, we were asked if this is when we usually came to vacation here. Yes, we are educators from the Southwest, and this was our spring break, so this is when we came to visit, but honestly, it is so peaceful this time of year. Especially Boothbay Harbor, and what we imagined while walking around the very quiet town would be a very different place in July! Our experience at Abby’s space was absolutely wonderful and serene in the spring. The thoughtful touches (thank you for the bottle of Maine wine and jar of blueberry jelly!) made it even more special. Thank you, we hope to be back one day.

Aimee was wonderful to deal with. Her place was absolutely beautiful. we definitely picked the right place. the sunrises were so awesome. Rockland was a gorgeous little town.

Great unit on the golf. Course with Ocean views out to the islands. Generally peaceful, save for the morning mowing of the golf course. Great place to base to see all of the mid-coast and the Samoset hotel amenities that are available to you are first class

Perfect little spot on Frye Island! Great location, walking distance to our favorite beach on island as well as the general store. House was clean, comfortable, just as described. We enjoyed our stay!

Property had amazing views. Inside was beautiful and very clean. Pond and river was nice. Host was quick with any question we had. would recommend.10/10
