Cottage vacation rentals in Belgrade

The most beautiful place, exceeding all expectations. The views are spectacular. We breathed in peace and tranquility. A fabulous place to celebrate my 80th birthday with the whole family -- 16 of us. Everyone was comfortable in the space. In addition to being the perfect host, Samantha provided surprise extras which was such fun! Just a few of the highlights: S'mores at the firepit, lobster dinners, seals, bald eagles and fireworks. She made our stay truly memorable. My family gives the place the highest recommendation.

Spent quite a while here for work and saw winter turn to spring. What an amazing place to stay! Right on the water, great views, and it’s so peaceful. Thanks Craig for being so flexible! Everything was up to par and then some. I hope to come back in the summer sometime and enjoy it again!

The cabin was as described. Very clean and ready for guests. Kitchen is adequate for light cooking. They provide enough ground coffee for 2 pots and filters, as well as sugar, salt and pepper. They also provide dish soap, hand soap and a small amount of shampoo and body wash. There are a few books, board games and a deck of cards, in addition to 2 tvs. Other rooms are cozy and perfect for 2. Shower stall is made for 1, as well as the corner jacuzzi tub. My husband and I are tall and did not fit comfortably in the tub, together. It's fine for just 1 person. Our visit was in early April and it rained the entire time and we LOVED it. We had beautiful views of the woods, a cozy cabin with an electric fireplace and a hot tub, with gray skies and rain; LIFE IS GOOD! Every other month we find a small cabin and enjoy a 2-4 night mini-vacation. We will definitely come back to this property.

A great house and location right on the water. We arrived well after dark, Tom came and met us at the property to make sure we got situated. Plenty of room for a family of four and more. We enjoyed the boats and fishing and hiking in the area. The game room was nice to have on a rainy day. The kitchen has everything you need. Really enjoyed our long weekend here.

It’s a lovely cabin, the hot tub is a plus. It’s also fairly private since it’s last cabin of the property.

Perfect for what we needed for a weekend getaway. So peaceful and a lot of interesting wildlife. We saw so many different types of birds! The hot tub is spacious and easy to use.

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs across the country and I’m not exaggerating when I say that Lydia’s place was one of the cleanest and most well-maintained homes that we’ve been in. The property and scenery are breathtaking. The numbers of birds and chipmunks that entertained us while we sat on the back deck was surprising. We ate all of our meals with the exception of lunches at the cabin and had everything we needed to prep and cook our food. This trip was all about relaxing and Lydia’s home was everything we needed.

Wonderful,private, well equipped cottage on pretty pond. Owners quick to respond to our texts. Relaxing hot tub and fantastic sauna! Many restaurants and breweries within a 30 minute drive. Book it ..... you won't wanna leave!

Leslie was very responsive and helpful before the trip. The place was even more beautiful than expected. The Google address leads to a few houses before, but the description of the driveway helped us find the right location. It was the perfect location to relax for the weekend.

We felt right at home at LInda's place. It is beautifully furnished and decorated and there is plenty of space. Everything was spotless. Having a washer and dryer really made a difference. The cottage is close to a busy road so there was some road noise outside, but in the cottage it was quiet and peaceful. Linda is very friendly and helpful and had put out welcome muffins for us, which was such a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again!

Beatiful cabin on the water, thoughtfully decorated. I loved the layout, plenty of seating areas and lovely decor. There is only one small bathroom which may be an issue with more than 2 or 3 guests, but worked out perfectly for us. We saw deer twice when driving down the trail to the house which was exciting! Loved using the firepit outside. The only bummer was that the dock wasn’t in the water yet. I still managed to use the kayak but would not advise attempting without the dock lol. Wonderful host, David was very responsive and had a nice bottle of wine waiting for us on our arrival. Would 100% come back

Tammy describes her sweet cottage perfectly. Water views are spectacular with options to fish off the dock, sit in the backyard to warm up or sit on the bluff to cool off. It was perfect for this girl and her dog to re-set in solitude. Most places on the water have sensitive septic as described so you want to consider that if there are more than two guests. I enjoyed my endless walks on Popham beach (no dogs 4/1-10/1)) and was thrilled to be there in the off season. I barely saw anyone! Reid State Park was also spectacular and more opportunity to walk my dog on the trails. Tick season is a bit of an adjustment every year but not a problem if you prepare yourself and your furry friends. A perfect place for a great book, wandering around historic Bath, and easy meal prep. I stayed 2 weeks and appreciated all the thought Tammy put into anticipating what a traveler might need.

We had a lovely stay at Jeff's place in Friendship and appreciated all the thoughtful touches there. It was wonderful taking the kayaks out to explore the surrounding islands. I would also recommend the lobster rolls nearby at the Jameson Point restaurant.

Barbara place is awesome for a couple plus I child nice quiet area very clean and it private. Barbara is a great host you will love this spot it feels like home we will be back

We had such a great time staying at Emily's awesome retreat. It was our first mini-vacation with our dog and we were looking for some peaceful, wide open space to let her roam free. We absolutely got that with this home and thoroughly enjoyed the town, as well. Emily was super responsive whenever we did have a question and provided us with a great list of places to check out around town. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks!

We loved staying at Ann's place! It was exactly what we wanted, close to town and to lots of activities but also felt remote and in a really gorgeous location. Great, rustic spot.

Definitely not the owners fault - please double check all the additional fees charged by Airbnb when booking as it was a shock. What we thought would be $169.00 a night ended up being $255.00 a night.

We stayed at the cottage for about a week in late September and it was a perfect spot to get away from it all. The house is on a serene pond with trees reflected on the water, classic Maine. The cottage was clean and well kept with most everything you’d need. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood, so not a party spot, which worked out fine for our quiet family. We’d consider coming back to visit family. Thank you for the comfortable stay!

This was a wonderful place to have 4 adults and 3 children 4 and under. The deck was awesome and the walk to the water was nice, with a large flat area for the kids to run and play. The house was clean and had everything we needed, although it was hard to find the corkscrew -top shelf with the glasses in a wooden box! Michelle and Mickey were very responsive when we had a couple questions. There is a small beach entry, which was perfect. Plenty of seating. The washer and dryer were like new and easy to use! We all agreed we would rent again on our next visit to China.

What an awesome airbnb! The views are stunning and surroundings couldn’t have been more peaceful. The cottage itself was exceptional and had everything I needed and more. Wish I could've stayed there longer! 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone!

So good I almost don’t want to leave a review because it feels like giving away a secret! We explored the nearby nature trail, went canoeing everyday, and our 3 year old loved playing at the little beach right off the property doorstep. Eric was responsive, proactive, and went out of his way to make sure our stay was memorable for us and our little one. Highly recommend!

Very peaceful location, cozy feeling home with a great view of the lake and easy access, plenty of of space for dogs to roam around, Makenzie was very responsive and even brought us an AC day of check-in in a very timely manner! We will be back again for sure!

This place had everything we needed, plus a fabulous view! We only stayed one night, but I'd like to come back another time when it is warmer, to enjoy more time on the deck!

Loons Rest was the perfect get away spot for our 40th anniversary. We were lucky to enjoy the swimming dock in mid September as the daytime temperatures were in the upper 70's to low 80's. The lake was pristine and was warm enough for swimming still. We enjoyed watching and hearing the loons as well as the eagles and kingfishers. We loved the outdoor fire pit when the evenings turned cool as well as the indoor fireplace which is a work of art! Also the was plenty of well seasoned firewood. Everything about this place is very well thought out. If they don't have it you don't need it! The kitchen was well equipped and we were happy to find that there was everything we needed to prepare pizzas to cook on our solo stove pizza oven that we had brought along! John is a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend Loons Rest to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing spot to vacation.
